If you're struggling with fertility, this is NOT the place to seek care or compassion. My experience with this clinic was not only disappointing but deeply upsetting. After dealing with the emotional difficulty of trying to conceive, I called to schedule an appointment only to be met with rudeness and condescension from the receptionist Deborah. Instead of offering the basic kindness and understanding you would expect from a fertility clinic, I was spoken to in a demeaning, dismissive, and unprofessional manner. Deborah was also ALL ABOUT THE MONEY and mentioned I'd have to first fill out a form will all of my personal information to then be accepted as a patient. Hoping this was just an individual mistake, I called back to speak with the office manager. To my shock, she doubled down, refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing, and even mocked me instead of addressing the issue. No apology, no accountability, just pure disregard for the emotional toll that comes with infertility. A fertility clinic should be a place of support and empathy, not humiliation and hostility. If this is how they treat people before they even walk through the door, I can only imagine the cold, impersonal experience patients receive in their actual care. If you value respect, compassion, and professionalism, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I am hesitant to leave a poor review because there were pro's and con's to this fertility clinic, and I also am aware of if you do not get the results you want, your opinion of everything/everyone may be skewed. I will start off with saying the staff are extremely friendly, and they are ALWAYS able to be reached (no matter what time of day it is). With that being said, they don't always communicate with each other. (Ex. I paid for a second procedure in advance, but was still being asked to pay again, several times, because the person in charge of finances didn't communicate to the other staff.) One of the downsides to using this office is if your bloodwork falls on a weekend or a holiday, you will be going to the hospital across the street to have it done. The hospital is easy to locate, and parking there is straightforward as well. Despite this being their normal practice for many years, the hospital staff does NOT have a routine down. Sometimes they are confused where to send you, how many blood tubes to collect, or they take over an hour to get a phlebotomist down to collect your blood. It's more of a hassle (once inside) than anything. The biggest letdown for me with this office is how I was treated post procedure (2 times). I had two rounds of egg freezing- I never received a call from Dr. Peress after the procedure, to fill me in on how many eggs he harvested, or the plan moving forward. I finally was able to talk to him over Zoom because *I* reached out and set a date and time. I didn't get many eggs from the first round so I opted to do it again. With that being said, I was not happy with second round either. I was visibly upset after the procedure, and was simply told "sometimes that happens, we will talk about what happened and future options later", by Dr. Peress. Well, no one ever called me. I would have thought the doctor would've called me to explain what/why it happened, or atleast reach out knowing I was not ok. But that never happened. All I received was a text from one of the nurses about how "if you want to do a third round, we will give it to you at the same price you had this round". Lacking empathy and professionalism if you ask me. Not the compassion and quality time I would expect when going through a process like this; one that is mentally, physically, and financially draining. I think when partaking in any part of this journey, you want the practice to be both supportive and caring- and I was definitely disappointed to not feel this in the end. read more

They are happy to take your 20k plus 10k meds cost, but no real response when they didn't look holistically at you and it they cant even implant bc they didn't get any viable fetus'... they should refund patients the implantation money (at least), if they cant even finish what i paid for (20k)..... at least 5k of that was allocated to implant costs, a proc i never received. read more

After only one year of trying, I knew there was something wrong but I couldn't figure out what. My gyno at the time ignored my concerns and told me to relax. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Peress. At the first appointment, he was able to identify what was wrong. During my treatment, the staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind and understanding. They always answered my questions and were a dream during all of the uncomfortable procedures. My experience here was nothing less than a nightmare. When I was faced with the decision to start fertility testing, my OBGYN told me I could go to Boca Fertility were it was more personal or IVF Florida which was more like a machine system. Knowing my personality, I picked Boca Fertility for the more personal route, because this is a difficult process to deal with. From the moment I started at Boca Fertility I felt like I was not accepted. I went through all the tests and then sat down with Dr. Peress to "go over" the results and be told "our plan". The results showed nothing wrong with me but the plan was to start wasting money on treatments! Why would we spend money on treatments if you can't even tell us why we are having fertility problems! From the beginning I felt like the were not compassionate, and didn't feel accepted there. Since then, my husband and I have transferred all of our files over to IVF Florida - Margate and it was THE BEST decision we have made. Every bad word you hear about IVF Florida is what should be said about Boca Fertility. IVF Florida has accepted us, treated us with respect and compassion. Thoroughly explained every step with us. Sat down for hours to explain everything to us and given hugs when you need them and go over financing options with us which can be a scary reality. Boca Fertility should take notes from them. You don't often see reviews on fertility services because it's a topic very private and painful. However, I feel that is important to warn others about bad doctors. Dr. Peress is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. I went there after having a miscarriage and couldn't get pregnant for several months. He immediately did his standard tests, including blood work, sperm count and HSG to see if my tubes were open. He interpreted all the tests as normal and rushed me and my husband to a cycle of IUI and clomid. I never needed Clomid, because I ovulated on my own. My husband and I were newbies then, so we trusted the doctor. Our insurance only covered diagnostics, so all treatments were out of pocket. However, even things that insurance should have covered, the office would still send us bills and even though I complained, I still had to pay (I don't want my credit ruined). Later on, when we went to a real doctor, we didn't get bills for diagnostics, which should have been covered by our insurance. So first cycle did not work, my lining was too thin to begin with. Yet, Clomid can make your lining even thinner, so I don't understand why the doctor would recommend that, especially if I was ovulating on my own. After a negative pregnancy test at home, his staff wanted me to go to his office and do a blood pregnancy test. Why? I already know it's negative. I am thinking $$$$$. So we went for a second round of IUI and this time injectable hormones. Even more expensive. Nothing worked with lining. Then Dr. Peress said, he would have to put his "thinking cap on this one". You have 30 years of experience and now you need your thinking cap? I kept complaining to him that since the d&c after the miscarriage, my period was very scant. He completely disregarded that. Now he wanted to move along to IVF or Surrogacy. Wait a minute! So sketchy! Not to mention his nurses were not nice or helpful and Dr. Peress would come in the room and call me a different name. Too many red flags. I ran away as far as I could. Then I went to Dr. Scott Roseff, a REAL doctor. He looked at the HSG pictures, and even thought Dr. Peress interpreted it as "normal", Dr. Roseff suggested I had scar tissue in my uterus. Along with scan periods, that made perfect sense. Also, my husbands sperm analysis which was interpreted as normal by Dr. Peress, was far from optimal. He gave us some supplements and his swimmers improved. I had surgery and the scar tissue was removed. I can't believe we spent a lot of money at Dr. Peress' office and all he wanted to do is push us into expensive cycles without figuring out the cause. We were disgusted by this. I hope this will keep others from making the same mistake. Some doctors only want your money. BEWARE! We don't live in Florida anymore but glad we stopped going to Boca Fertility before it was too late and all our savings were gone. read more

When I walked in into Boca Fertility my first impression was, a clean office with a very nice peaceful atmosphere. I choose Boca Fertility because of the great reviews this clinic had. I previously was in another facility were I found myself treated not as individual but like a (Number). I believed things happen for a reason, God is in control and always has a purpose. Wow. That is the word that best describes my experience at Boca fertility. Truthfully I did not know what to expect when I came to Boca fertility, because our previous experience at another fertility clinic was disappointing to say the least. From the moment my fiance and I walked in we were met with a sense of peace and tranquility. From the soothing music, to the Televisions with calming scenery. This place just gives off a vibe that makes you feel at ease. Now I'm a man and the idea of using a fertility treatment was not something I was exactly comfortable with, but after meeting Dr Peress all of my concerns were alleviated. He is a calm, cool guy, with a bedside manner that could only be described as impeccable. Long story short, 2 cycles of iui and now my future wife is 9 weeks pregnant and we are as happy as can be. Dr. Peress only cares about money and ripping his clients up. He tried to force us to do IVF when I kept telling him that I wanted to do IUI since my husband and I did not have any diagnosed problems. My first IUI try, he missed my ovulation day, even though they were checking every other day. On my second IUI try he decided to tripled the hormones dosage, which caused me to have 15 follicles and I was told that we had to cancel the IUI or proceed with IVF. I chose not to proceed with IVF and cancel the IUI. I lost about $3,500.00, because all the medication I purchased had to be thrown away, and I felt he did this just because he wanted to force me to the IVF, which cost about $18,000.00. This also caused me to put the treatment on hold for 2 months, because that was a risk I was left cysts in my uterus due to the hyper-ovulation. Finally on my third IUI try, I was able to get pregnant and I am very happy about that. However, Dr. Peress said he wasn't going to charge me for my next ultrasound, due to the unnecessary expenses we had and yes he did not charge me, but he submitted to my Insurance, which paid in full. Which means that every time I was there and paid out of pocket for every single ultrasound and blood work, it could have been submitted to my insurance. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. PERESS TO ANYONE. read more
