He has shot weddings at our wedding venue, which is how we found him and from the beginning, he has been very easy to communicate with and very responsive by email and text. He is super flexible and very easy to work with! My fiancé and I are both not huge on taking photos and tend to be more than awkward in front of the camera, but he was able to provide the direction we needed and then some! He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. He recently shot our engagement photos in La Jolla on Sunday and by the following Tuesday night our pictures were ready for use! She arrived on time and ready to go. I wasn't even in my wedding dress yet and I think she could tell I was about one second away from a melt down. Thank goodness she has the patience of a saint and just a general good vibes energy to her because once she started snapping pictures all the stress of setting up my DIY backyard wedding faded away for my husband and I. She suggested that Neil and I get away from the house for a bit up and up to the canyon by my house for some couple shots and I am sooooo beyond happy she suggested this for us. We got engaged and needed engagement photos specifically a beach photo recreating a piece of…read moreartwork. We live in Arizona and California was nearest beach and preferred a San Diego photographer. Was recommended Allie through a high school friend. I contacted her she was able to do our engagement photos that took place at Coronado Beach. She came on time and ready to take our photos. My fiancé and I felt so comfortable with her even though we had not met her prior to that day. They came out magical we were so happy with the photos. Our friends and family raved about how beautiful they were when she gave us the gallery. I thought in the back of my mind it would be great if she could do our wedding it was a long shot since she lived in San Diego and our wedding would take place in Phoenix, Arizona. I asked and by my surprise she said Yes! We were so excited and thrilled it was a dream come true to have her as our wedding photographer. On the wedding day she came on time she was the wedding coordinator by accident though as well as our photographer. She led everyone including videographer, actual wedding coordinator, DJ and staff of the venue to make our wedding perfect and seamless. We got our photos and were in awe of how beautiful they turned out. We have been married now for a couple years and can't wait to share our photos with our two daughters. These photos will be passed down to them and hopefully to more generations to come. We still get out our video and watch it with our son (3 years later), and we cry every time. Photos are beautiful, but nothing can compare to having the video and reliving all of our special moments from the day. It was the one thing from our wedding that was worth every penny! My initial search for a videographer seemed a little overwhelming, as I did not really know where to start and did not have any referrals to go on. There were a lot of options online, but also many bad reviews. We did not want to risk having a poor quality video, because it was really important to us to view the memories of our wedding day many years down the road. My florist showed me a website featuring a gorgeous wedding they had done, and Visual Union was referenced as the videographer. I assumed he must have a good reputation if he was hired for that wedding. So I called David the next day and he got back to me within an hour. Right away, I found him very personable and a pleasure to work with. He has a level of professionalism that made me feel very comfortable, and I trusted that I was in good hands from the beginning. His prices are quite reasonable, especially considering his high quality of work and commitment to his client. David also put together a beautiful photo montage for us, which was shown at our reception and then included on our wedding video disk. We have shown many friends and family our video, and it has gotten wonderful reviews! It is the perfect depiction of all the special moments that day....very professionally filmed and edited. Several people who saw the video commented, "Wow, that is so beautifully done.....who was your videographer?"
