Sandwiches could be Hot or cold and I read you could add toppings but they were busy and didn't ask if I wanted anything added, which was fine. I saw they took credit card but didn't realize there was a minimum charge and couldn't understand what they said - then the server turned to the crowd and said something which they laughed at? but I was eventually able to pay and get my Sandwich which I enjoyed by a nearby canal. It would have been nice if the bread was toasted since I ordered it Hot and I didn't find it had too much flavor but it was still filling and nice to try. Store attached to it also had some nice local gifts and food for purchase.

Up the escalator near the back right area of the store is where you go to get to the grocery store. They do have a good variety of things although most of it is in French, although there are some American products. They have a great selection of cookies too! Exceptional wine inventory although I had no clue what I was looking at to purchase. I did ask one person for help but he did not speak English. Make sure you have a decent translator app on your phone. But great dairy department as well! The only thing I found to be lacking was a selection of paper products, such as paper towels. All they had were cheap, small rolls. The carts used for groceries are the basket type you pull with a handle. But great store all the way around and it was nice to find most of what I needed. Washing powder was around only 1.95 euros for a small pack which was perfect for one person for a few weeks. I didn't personally experience it but my friends had a problem a few times with the fact that they accept francs but only notes not coins and you have to weigh and put a sticker on any fruit (even if it had a sticker and the sticker is ripped).

I picked up 6 items, and two of them were mispriced as the checkout counter showed prices that were double and triple of the sale price on the rack. I was in a rush and told the cashier to take them off and she had to get a manager to come by, what can you do but wait? At least I had water and juice and some disposable shavers but when I got back to my hotel, the peach Nectar tasted strange and sure enough, it had expired. Every fairy tale must close with a happy ending and every disaster must have a proper plot twist. I discovered that the disposable shavers i boight were also overpriced by 3 euros... If someone knows the people at Carrefour, have them check the price database of this store, there's too many wrong prices for it to be just a random oversight.
