Hired Chris Moncus for some family photos to commemorate a special occasion. We paid for one hour…read moreof photos however Chris seemed completely rushed and even called us thirty minutes before our contracted time to state we were late. The pictures came back and to be honest we could have taken the same quality of pictures. Chris did not help pose us, rather just told us to stand together which looks awkward. The wind also did not make for good pictures which as a photographer he should know how to work with the environment. Needless to say we were very disappointed and believe he needs a little more training and work on professionalism.

We did not have Jay as our wedding photographer. Our photographer stood in the same place for the entire reception, therefore capturing the same people over and over. There are no pictures of the groom's family's table or of the wedding party table. We have the same dancing pictures with the same people over and over. There is only one formal picture of the wedding party, very poor selection of photos of the bride only and none of the groomsmen getting ready when we specifically asked for that. Truly the best pictures we have are ones that friends and family took. Beyond disappointing and upsetting. The other terrible thing about Jay Grubb photography is how long it takes to get your pictures. We waited 18 weeks to get our pictures and then to be that disappointed after that long wait is completely inexcusable. Use another photographer for your precious memories.
