Mike Harrell told us twice a mortgage interest rate was at a lower rate than he had indicated in the disclosures and not to be concerned. On two different occasions, in emails, he indicated these lower rates. Twice we asked him to please lock in the lower rate. After requesting he lock in the lower rate, his reply was that we could not get the lower rate. The first time he passed it off as an error on his part because he had switched us to a different type loan because our FICO score had gone up and our down payment was larger. After switching us to the conventional loan, we again, requested to lock in the lower rate which Mike Harrell again quoted verbally and in emails. Mike Harrell, again, came back and told us we now don't qualify for the lower rate because our FICO score had gone down. read more
