Mike helped create an extra set of car keys and remotes for me recently as my remote broke right before our babies due date (yikes!). He is extremely professional, dedicated, reliable, and attentive. Although his prices were slightly higher than some other guys I called, I am really glad I went with Mike. The cheaper guys I called failed to show up for appointments that we set up, so Mike was a lifesaver and showed up within 20 minutes of my initial call. This guy is going under 2 names on Yelp, His other account has 2 stars and I doubt any of the reviews on this account are legitimate. He will call and threaten you if you leave a bad review. He isn't very straightforward with quotes, I asked him how much it was to entirely replace and rekey an ignition for a 2001 Honda Civic, he literally quoted me $1200. I could get an entirely new engine installed for that price. I spoke to 2 other reputable locksmiths, both said $1200 is an insane quote for any car, much less a 2001 Civic, even in the absolute worst case scenario. I found the part for $160-300 new. Even on the high end, he is quoting me $900 in labor to replace my ignition. Don't bother calling me back Mike. I am leaving this review up. I called Westminster Lock and Key (also known as M L Locksmith) and they were straightforward with their quote. They fixed my ignition which had a broken tumbler, $350 flat to repair and cut me 2 new keys. And they didn't waffle, they immediately let me know how much it would be, they didn't have to search on Amazon to see how much parts were, like Mike did. They didn't tell me that if I had the ignition replaced I would have separate keys for my door and ignition, Mike told me that. I assume because he isn't a very good locksmith. All these 5 star reviews have to be friends and colleagues, and even they are saying how he is priced higher than normal. If you want to get screwed on price, go to this guy. Your stock photos aren't fooling anyone dude, you are a scammer. read more

I was shopping around and saw his reviews in Yelp so I decided to call. His pricing was good and his response time was very quick. He came in the same day I called! I had to change 4 locks which 2 were high security locks. He did take some time with the security locks but he also took the time to make sure to adjust it so it could turn easily and comfortably. He was courteous and friendly and his pricing was good. I would recommend to anyone! read more

Mike makes getting locked out not suck. I lock myself out of something (house, car, work, etc.) about twice a year, and this has been going on since college. So I have plenty of experience with locksmiths. Mike is the best I've ever used. I called him at about 8AM on a weekday, he was at my house in about a half hour, and he was a total professional. He assessed all my entrances, gave me a quote *before* he started work, and has the coolest box of unlocking tools I've ever seen. He got me back in my house in under ten minutes and the price was literally half of what I was expecting to pay.
