In 5 years my insurance has g from $65 to $158 with no accidents, additional drivers, infractions and significant DECREASE in annual mileage. The only suggestion they offer to decrease: take a safe driver class or *bundle* buying more coverage you don't need, having employer paid / better policies elsewhere. read more

Great Agency with Outstanding Customer Service. Myself and my husband switched to State Farm a few years back. We switched from Geico. Geico terminated our policy without even calling to let us know (after I racked up a couple speeding tickets). My own fault yes, but it felt so informal. And, I don't think my husband should have lost his insurance due to my mistakes. One of the things I hated about Geico was the call center. You never talked to the same person, waited on hold forever, and were shuffled between call center reps. It's not like that at Mike Stasko's office. Down to earth people work there, and they treat you like family. We are familiar with the staff. A huge bonus is that they always answer the phone in a timely manner, and there are never long hold times. You're not calling a call center. Cherokee is the multi-line rep/risk manager, and an excellent customer service person. Like all who work there, she is warm and caring. I feel at ease discussing our insurance needs with her. We aren't rich people. We have had to make difficult choices, such as reducing our homeowner's insurance. They made sure we had the coverage we need at a rate we can afford. Consider switching to Mike Stasko State Farm if you reside in the greater Genesee County area. Your policy communications are handled by real people who will come to know you by name, and you'll know them too. State Farm has great rates, but it's the atmosphere that I love the most. read more

My experience at Mike Stasko's office was amazing. The credit goes to a very professional woman named Cherokee. Back in late February, I had a very confusing issue regarding my policy name accidentally being confused with my fathers very similar name. Certain vehicles were under certain names, etc. This was most likely my own fault for not contacting Staskos office after I used a 1-800 number to Insure a new vehicle and home owners insurance. *Always verify any changes with your insurance office. Anyways, It was too much to explain over the phone, so I went to the office. After Cherokee solved the problem promptly and submitted the correct changes to State Farm, she then began to educate me on my policy and what is covered. She gave me examples and scenarios of cases and how their office would help if anything were to happen. I recommend that everyone go to the office more often for personal one on one explanations. Cherokee was super patient with me while I bombarded her with 100 questions. She answered all 100 questions. Even the dumb ones that I asked. Learning insurance Isn't normally a "Fun" event, but somehow she made it happen. She did such a great job, I was able to reiterate what I learned to my wife later that day.
