So many issues, where to start? Early on they were quick to reply and were the only company to offer curbside drop off for an extra fee only to find out they gave my car to another company who does not have that service. I eventually got a refund for that. Luckily I know some people here that were able to drive me to pick up the car because it was dropped off over an hour away. Once they were paid, they rarely ever replied and most of the time when they did, the response would be, "I'll contact this person and get back to you." They never call back and then when I would call they wouldn't answer. I was given the quote of 7-9 business days to move my car across the country. Then they switched it to 8-14 business days. Then they told me multiple dates that the car would arrive but those days came and went with no car. I was then notified that my car was in Calgary. I called the lot where my car was supposed to be and the employee there told me my car was not there. I went to the RCMP that day. While waiting to talk to an officer I called Mike's one last time. The woman that answered gave me attitude in telling me that she already told me where the car was. It was then that I told her I called the lot and my car was not there. Once again she gave me the, "I'll call this guy and call you back." That's when I questioned if she would actually call but not to worry because I was at the RCMP station. RCMP called the lot to make sure my story was correct. An employee told the officer my car wasn't the only one said to be dropped off there which wasn't. Within a couple hours they told me my car was in Edmonton over 3 hours away. Good thing I called the lot first. Overall it was a terrible experience 0/5. read more

I've had the misfortune of dealing with many tow companies over the years but these guys made the whole process easy. Responses to emails within minutes, and given the drivers phone number to talk direct. My tow was from the GTA to near Ottawa and was done on time, at a great price. The drivers were friendly and respectful. I will use these guys again and recommend them to people who need to get a tow for a reasonable rate. read more

The company lost my Fob/ Key and did not replace my key They did not complete the contract they threatened to call my work when I thtreanted to call the BBB for their unprofessional conduct and issues with payment The Company gave my car to 3 or 4 other companies without my permission Their 'good reviews' are questionable. They have at least 5 different business names and have an F rating on BBB. -they were on Global news because they have many complaints They've changed their business name five times. You can call the BBB to get their updated list. I contacted Mikes Hauler to ship my car from Ontario to B.C . . I asked Mike Haulers to send me a work order or contract. They sent it with the original rate of $2700. They changed the rate after they picked up my car key. The rate was changed from $2700 to close $3200. The company added additional fees and a 4 percent credit card fee. A family member was going to use her credit card to pay part of the shipment. She was going to call over the phone to give her credit card information and the company claimed they needed her to sign a credit card authorization. I said she doesn't have a computer or internet or know how to use those things. The woman on the phone then asked me if I could sign my mom's name which I said I would not 'forge' my mom's name. lol. I learned that BBB has the company as an F rating on their website. I threatened to report them to the BBB and they replied, they didn't give care. That the F-rating would 'effect them' My other major concern is that I did not give Mike's Hauler permission to pass my vehicle to another company. Their website states that they have many tow yards across the country and trucks. However, this is suspect. I learned that my vehicle was contracted out to another company. T I was having issues with the company and threatened to report them to the BBB.A man then came on the phone and said, 'we don't give a fuck, do what the fuck you want.' 'We are going to call your work and tell them all about you.' Then they started name calling and saying. -oh getting your mommy to pay for your shipment - why don't you pay for it your fucking self. They hung up and I kept calling back to see where my car was. They kept hanging up the phone on me. I did more research into the company and found out they were operating under different names and had scammed others out of money. I contacted the company again and I said I contacted he peel regional police and they advised me to do cash on delivery. By this time I had already paid them $1607.50. I made many attempts to pay them by credit card. My mother claimed that they did not arrange to make a credit card payment. I even called Mike's Haulers Representative and included my mom in a three-way call at least three times and coincidentally they would always disconnect my their phone when I would ask them to verify information about payment on the phone. When I told them that the Peel Regional Police told me to do Cash on Delivery, Mike's Haulers sent an email response stating that my boss advised me to leave your car in Edmonton and go get it myself. They did not complete the delivery . Every day I was given dates on when my car would arrive to Edmonton. The company then sent an address b I reported the company to the RCMP. I learned that my car without my permission was passed onto four other companies . The Tow Truck drivers said He didn't t know the car belonged to me. ' (Theo the driver) also lost the fob to my car. He replaced the fob but not my key! I still have the text message from the driver telling me that he didn't replace the key and that I didn't needed to replace the key. The tow truck driver said he had never heard of that company or any of the companies listed above. I asked him if he knew Danny Lee or Johnson and he said no. He said he worked for a different company. read more

I have seen all there reviews and was nervous at first, but it turns out they are really good. Danny was polite and took her time explaining everything and how the transport will go, the vehicle (1987 corvette ) from GP to Halifax was moved in a fully enclosed truck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This was the absolute worst service experience I have ever had. I trusted Mikes Auto Hauler to transport my vehicle from Ontario to Calgary. They promoted themselves online as a fast and efficient company who would be able to deliver my vehicle to its destination within 12 business days. When I initially inquired about their service they were quick to respond and sent someone to pick up my vehicle right away. I now understand why that was the case. I was told the full payment for transportation would be taken once the vehicle was in transit. The same day they picked up my vehicle they withdrew the money from my credit card, I assumed that meant my vehicle was in transit. Turns out they actually parked it in Hamilton where it sat for nearly 2 weeks. When I inquired about the whereabouts of my vehicle I was either ignored or I always got the same response from Danny Lee, that Daniel would get back to me. I tried calling Daniel on multiple occasions for updates but he failed to answer the phone. The company's main line was also disconnected. It is to my understanding I was provided no update because my vehicle was subcontracted to multiple companies and Mikes Auto Hauler had no idea where my car was. This was especially frustrating considering I was told I would receive updates and went 3 weeks hearing almost nothing regarding its whereabouts. When my inquires were finally answered after prolonged waiting periods the response was always the same, that my vehicle was in transit and would be arriving soon. My arrival date was pushed back on multiple occasions. When the vehicle was finally said to have arrived in Calgary Mikes Auto Hauler indicated which lot the vehicle had been delivered to. When I contacted the lot to ask if I could pick up my vehicle I was told my vehicle was not there. I once again received no response from Mikes Auto Hauler, that is until I threatened to go to the police to report the car stolen. Only then was I told it was actually not at the lot but would be delivered to that lot the day after. This was an extremely stressful and frustrating experience. I understand inclement weather conditions and staff shortage due to COVID may have contributed to my vehicles overall delay. However, that is no excuse for the lack of communication this company portrays. I trusted Mikes Auto Hauler with the transportation of my vehicle. They failed to deliver the service expected of any transportation company, which is to ensure their paying customers feel secure that they will receive their vehicle and more importantly receive updates on the transportation process, especially when there are delays. If you decide to transport your vehicle take the time to do your research. Had I read the previous reviews which mimic my experience I would have gone else where. I am extremely disappointed and only hope they take these reviews into consideration to better their service. read more
