Getting an appointment at "my" convenience was a breeze, and Jeff walked around and inspected my vehicle prior to the process. He will notice any minor scratches or imperfections, and point them out. The waiting room is clean and comfy, with Netflix and free WiFi. The process took just under 2 hours. After the tint, Jeff walked around my vehicle, explaining the maintenance. You should leave the windows up for 5-7 days. There was a bit of a hazy coating on the windows, which Jeff said would disappear, and it did. My concerns were bubbles, but the tint was flawless! No bubbles found! He even introduced me to the team member who did the tint, and brought me behind the scenes to explain the process. I also received a call from Heather 6 days later to see if I was satisfied, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend Audio Heaven if you need a tint job. I wasn't worried because I know FX stands by their work, so I went to see them and let them know of my issue. They told me that there's no way to get that fixed reliably, and that I can have them remove the tint over the back window over the dot matrix and get it coated with an opaque vinyl. They warned, however, that it would likely damage my radio, so I'd have to be comfortable with the risk. Guys - if a part of your work isn't going to turn out, your customer should know about this before swiping their credit cards. If they raise an issue, saying "we can fix our mistake but it may screw up your car" isn't customer service. You're supposed to make it right. I'd stay away, go to somewhere that will be transparent with you from the jump.

Tint Guys: Sun Out! Found a good option for window film installation that was referred to us by…read morefriends. I was on the market to tint our new vehicle during the hot summer months, and was disappointed by a quote & the wait time elsewhere. But upon chatting with Jon at Tint Guys, it was easy & hassle-free. The shop is located in the industrial part of Vaughan. They offer a variety of Xpel Prime products. XR Plus tints were offered at 35, 25, 15 and 5% visible light transmission (VLT). For those interested, Ontario highway traffic act 73(3) prescribes that the windshield & front side windows shall not be substantially obscured when viewed from the outside. In new vehicles, this means light transmittance shall not be less than 70% (VLT) for the front side windows. The windshield cannot be tinted more than 75mm from the top as per the vehicle inspection standard. I went with 25% for the back sides, 15% for the rear as those other windows have no restrictions. I selected a higher VLT% tint for the front sides though it still didn't jive with the rules above. The appointment was very smooth, and I was in & out within 2 hours. A workmanship warranty was also offered. Since Tint Guys employ a team to specialize in window installs, precise laser prints are used. And as Jon promised, the bubbles in the tint went away within a week of installation. Good service, decent tints, questionable compliance.

I was simply quoted the cheapest option, which I felt was a tad misleading. When I arrived, I was shown a display that has all of the types they carry - from the cheapest to the highest priced option. They even had two vehicles parked in front that they'd already done, so that I could see how the different shades would look on the car, rather than just on the display inside. I'd seen some of their work on their website, but it helps seeing it in person before deciding how dark to go. Once I selected my options (which worked out to be around $50 more than originally quoted) they proceeded to do the work. They finished in just over an hour or so and my windows looked great. They recommend not rolling the windows up or down for a couple of days so they have time to cure properly. It's been about a week since it was done, and I haven't seen any blistering or bubbling. They provide a lifetime warranty on their work, which is comforting. I would happily recommend this place to anyone needing their windows done.

The shop insisted it was "permanent paint" and couldn't be removed. I used a cheap over-the-counter upholstery cleaner at home, and it came right off. The Resolution: I sent photo proof to the owner. He initially tried to excuse it but eventually apologized and offered a touch-up. I declined the offer. My gas and time to drive back and forth would not be compensated. I did all the touch-ups myself to get the car looking right. I believe that detailing shops should pay attention to details--that is what it is all about--no matter the age or value of the car. I paid good money for a professional job and got a sloppy one. I will not be returning, nor can I recommend their services.

Visibility was already poor and the wiper caused a real driving hazard. Not knowing the area and driving almost blind, we luckily found this Speedy Glass (Kipling Ave) and were greeted by Jack! After hearing what occurred he asked us to have a seat in the warm waiting area. Jack quickly looked at the wiper and said it was a minor quick fix.
