I picked up a family pack on a Sunday. Really good pulled pork - very moist and not dried out like so many tend to be. Really enjoyed the sauce as well. If you like a lot of smoke taste in your BBQ, this is definitely where you want to go. read more

I had a loaded baked potato with pulled pork barbecue on it. It was excellent. The service was wonderful my friend had a triple bacon cheeseburger that was so wonderful. You're good tasting. I recommend everyone go to Mike's barbecue in Oakland, Alabama, and enjoy. read more

Mike's BBQ House offers great food, friendly employees, easy parking and is family friendly. The menu offers great value and large helpings for the price - my photo of the pulled pork BBQ plate shows only half the fried okra that they served me! Mike, the owner, is also the head chef and serves up a warm smile if you can get him away from the kitchen for a minute. HIGHLY recommended! read more

Go try this place out!!!! The ribs are incredible~ It's spiced So unique and the texture of the meat is just perfect! The rib tips are great too. Fried okra as side came out very fresh and crispy. I pour their house special sauce over my pulled pork, and put it on my toast...mad good! Everything is worthy to try, you won't regret! read more

Closest thing in Tupelo to the Memphis BBQ I'm used to. Great sides, super nice people. The slaw is oniony and not bogged down with mayo and perfect on a pulled pork sandwich. Rib tips are tender and smoky. I haven't had a bad thing there. Best BBQ in Tupelo if you ask me. read more

Recommended by a friend. He said they have the best ribs. How many times have I heard that? Well.... they have the best ribs!! You will not be disappointed. The meat is tender, perfectly smoked and falls off the bone. And the rub... forget it! It's awesome! A blend of heat n sweet, perfect pairing. Very nice owners, tried to get the rub ingredients but they politely told me, no way! Ha ha Stop by you'll enjoy it. read more

Read about Mike's in the Daily Journal. Since it was only a hoot and a holler from our house and my wife was in Jackson, thought I would give Mike's a try. Glad I did! I consider myself a bit of a barbecue snob and Mike delivered. I had the rib plate and it was delicious! Can't wait for my wife to try. Plus, Mike and his staff are personable and efficient. Your food is awesome! We had the pulled pork, pulled chicken, fried green tomatoes, baked beans and potato salad. Everything was spot on and your sauce is tasty without being overpowering. Mike's Barbecue House is one of my favorite places to eat in Tupelo! The dry rub on ribs is killer, and the sides are amazing! The pulled pork and chicken were moist and flavorful, and Mike's handmixed sauce is just the right balance of smoky, sweet with heat. read more
