A car at the pump was parked too far up, so we were all blocked in until he moved, but that took a while because he decided to wash all his windows with the brush near the pump. Store staff tried to get him to move. So I'd suggest finding a spot away from the pumps.

Grabbed a coffee and parked my van in the parking lot and would wake up and utilize their showers in the morning before hitting my final job. Decided to do this as on this day we will be expecting ice storms VS driving back up from Charlotte and potentially get caught in said storm. At 6am-ish William (Richard) the shift manager who seems to be in a NON LOVING CUSTOMER APPRECIATION kids mood is banging on my vehicle to wake me up. No when I walk in to loves truck stop I am greeted with "welcome to loves!" Well I believe that all goes to the side lines for its shift manager William. With the attitude of someone deprived of attention as a child and now as a man child. Informes me there is no over night parking and I need to leave before he calls the police. Shocked at the amount of attitude he has tells me it's his job and that there are signs in the parking lot stating so. Which NOT ONE SIGN did I see from where I was parked nor when I got gas and coffee the night before. If Williams job is to be unprofessional when he approaches people and customers as an employee of Loves. He needs a raise. And if loves travel shop doesn't allow parking for NON TRUCKERS then it needs to have signage properly installed. Even as i left I saw no signs stating no over night parking. Before leaving I returned my coffee and removed the loves app from my phone. Wondering to myself if William feels as unloved as I do at this particular Loves travel shop when he goes home.This review was written at Sheetz. Cause why the Sheetz not when you get No Love at Loves travel shop in Newton NC. William thought I would complain to corporate, just what a man child would think. Infantile. They have a reward program where you put your phone number in and you save on gas I have saved up to almost a dollar per gallon on my gas it has been wonderful and has saved me quite a bit of money this year. Price of gas is always lower than anyone else in town. Very friendly employee, Sianna, was on top of everything, moving people through quickly and always greets you with a smile, very friendly young lady. They have gasoline, air for your tires and Kero. They have oil, washer fluid and other fluids for your car. They have snacks and drinks you can purchase.

Noone answers the phone. Gas price are .30 higher than other Murphys. Soda prices are outrageous.read more

When performing a 1:1 price comparison to the competition down the street (initials being F.L.) I have found that items are $0.75-$1.00 cheaper, elsewhere. For example, Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard, I paid $2.29 (regular, non-sale price) at the other place, but when I walked in, same day to this place, it was literally that $0.75 higher. BUT, with that being said, if you shop their weekly mailer, and use their check-out coupons, and also use their loyalty card (you will occasionally get some decent price breaks). For example, last Nov/Dec, they mailed out $10 off purchase of $75. That helped. On specialty items, like Udi's Gluten Free Breads they are spot-on the competition price. So, it pays to shop around.

While everything about the actual order was fine, we found out afterwards that $44.97 was accidentally charged 3 times! Called the store to have the incorrect amount credited and was told that had to be done in person. Less than a week later, went to customer service and spoke with Heather. There was no friendly greeting, no apology for the error, no offer to credit my card, no congenial attitude, no apology for us having to make a special trip back to the store or offer to compensate. Was told it could have been credited over the phone if my wife had used her Lowes to Go account, which she had set up just such an account for the order. Even as I tried to make friendly side conversation about her Kombucha drink that I had loved that drink too until I learned it had alcohol, she even contended that it did *not* have alcohol when it absolutely does. In short, she desperately needs training in customer service and how to relate to customers. Due to this error combined with the lack of customer service, we'll be looking for another source next time.

Water in gas and owner continues to sell the water coming from pumps…read more "Stopped to get gas at the BP at 356 Catawba ave old fort. Nice water in the gas pumps. Not a nice way to start vacation. Do not buy anything from this store. Now lets see how long it takes to get our bike fixed. When tow tuck showed up we were told they pulled 3 vehicles out of same gas station yesterday. The owner knows that he is selling water in the gas."
