Pilot Travel Center is five stars, it is clean, and the staff is very friendly. The prices were reasonable. Showers were available at this location. There was also a Subway if you were looking for a meal. I had an issue with the parking. I had parked in a spot, as did others on the sides of me. A car at the pump was parked too far up, so we were all blocked in until he moved, but that took a while because he decided to wash all his windows with the brush near the pump. Store staff tried to get him to move. So I'd suggest finding a spot away from the pumps. read more

This location has very tight pump areas to navigate. My biggest concern is they charged me $226 to put a hold on my credit card. I only used $46 to fill up. The hold has not been removed since 4 days ago. Tried to call corporate was impossible. I don't have a an account or rewards number to get past the prompts. read more

On July 15, 2025, I stopped at this Pilot location as a domestic violence survivor traveling with my three small children. We needed to shower and regroup. It took nearly three hours -- because I have toddlers with natural Black hair, and I had to carefully wash their bodies, brush teeth, and keep them from touching the dirty floors. I did everything alone, as any protective mother would. As we exited the shower, two large, unleashed pit bulls charged us in the parking lot. My children screamed in fear. I was holding one baby and shielding the others while yelling and praying for help. Staff witnessed the entire incident and did absolutely nothing. The owners of the dogs were four white individuals -- only one of them halfheartedly attempted to wrangle the dogs. The others stood by, smirking, and waited until I had all my children back inside the car. Then they began using racial slurs, trying to provoke and intimidate me. Not one employee checked on us. Not one person offered help. No police were called. No concern was shown for my terrified babies. I reported this to Pilot Corporate on July 18th. Weeks passed in silence. Today, I finally got an email -- and instead of concern or accountability, they told me I would need a subpoena just to view the surveillance footage that could show my children being attacked. That is not just inhumane -- that is evidence tampering, plain and simple. If we had been white, there would have been apologies, EMTs, cameras, and comfort. But because we are Black -- nothing. I carry this trauma alone. My children still talk about the dogs. I still relive it every time we stop somewhere new. But by the grace of the Most High, we are still here. We were protected. And I will never stop speaking the truth. Pilot Flying J: your location is unsafe. Your silence is violent. Your response is unacceptable. And justice will be served. read more

Stopped here over the weekend on my way to Carolina and feel in love with this station. There is a Subway and a pizza spot located inside for the hungry shoppers. Also they have self check out so you don't even have to work with staff. Excellent service, great staff, great quality food and its clean. 5 Stars! read more

I don't normally write reviews about gas stations, but with this one, I felt impelled. Driving back from Asheville to Charlotte, we stopped at Pilot to fill up our gas tank. While we were there, I decided to go inside and use the restroom. The minute I stepped inside the store, I was greeted by an employee who was passing by. She was super friendly and it just put a smile on my (masked) face. I also immediately noticed how clean and organized the store area was. The restroom was impeccable as well, which isn't typical of other Pilots or gas stations I've visited. It was so much so that I went outside and told my family that if they have to use the restroom, this is the place! The restroom sink also had a hand scrub in addition to regular soap. I really enjoyed stopping here! This place is now the pilot center. It used to be under different management and now it's bigger, better and cleaner! There is a subway inside and a pizza spot. They have a large variety of options for food as well as breakfast. The have many options of oatmeal, and lots of creamers. I love that!!! On the road trips to and from I suggest if you need to stop for gas or food or to use the restroom I would definitely stop here. The staff are really great. I just left this pilot after an ER w my fiance. Got some Gatorade, some tea...stopped near the checkout counter for something sweet and overheard the cashier "Debbie" talking about how rediculous the George Floyd riots are and how she thinks they should just drop a bomb on " all of them and teach them a lesson" ...WOW..I have to hear this at 3:30 in the morning just grabbing some tea???? Very unprofessional and offensive to me personally. My fiance that was w me is black and my children are mixed. REALLY had to bite my tongue. Not the alot of people want to start they're morning, with violent racist comments. read more

I used to get my gas at Pilot but since they have removed the American flag for fear of insulting someone, I will not stop there anymore. If you are ashamed of the flag then I am ashamed of you. read more

Good bathrooms! They were large and fairly clean. There is a Subway, hot food station and lots of snack food options. The store is large and the staff was nice. They also have showers for truck drivers. I would definitely recommend coming here for gas, food or a bathroom on the road. read more

This is the best Pilot I have visited. All of the staff I encounteted was extremely nice and polite. The cashiers, manager and the Subway and Mama Deluca's wokers were very welcoming. I'm a female truck driver and it made me feel very comfortable, especially since I'm here until Monday. Thank you for being who you are.
