We had a rough layout and not an exact idea of what to buy and Mike the owner guided us a little and our trailer was fully loaded in about an hour over 200 plants as. Mike, the owner is rude and needs Jesus. We came in looking for palms and he was arrogant and not interested in helping us at all. We just walked off and left. I'm not sure how he stays in business, but I would not recommend even stopping in to look. He's that bad. Had one of my employees go there to get some trees. The owner Mike tried to give us a tree that wasn't as good looking as some of the others. When we said we wanted to pick a better looking tree, he totally lost it. Started cussing my guy out and threatening him in a violent way. I would never recommend anyone go to this place. Absolutely horrible prices are not marked or marked incorrectly the owner is rude. Items that are sold are not removed and still on display for purchase to be yelled at they are not for sale and if asked if there are other options NO they are all sold ok then remove them. This place has a great selection of palm trees and even some good prices. However we have been there 3 times. The first two times the guy there didn't even act like he wanted to help. He was very unfriendly and arrogant. We though maybe he had a bad day or two. So we tried a third time. Nope he was still very rude and really act like he just doesn't care if you buy anything. Possibly the worst service I have ever seen. I am guessing if you are not a landscaping company they don't want to have nothing to do with you. I would recommend any other place in Gulf Shores or Orange beach before this place. I would even drive a little distance before I would go back to this place. This is a very visible place on the corner on Hwy 59 because there's stacked palm trees all over the place. I've passed by many times and when it was time for planting some fruits trees I stopped by to see what they had to offer. I had been by several places in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Robertsdale, Fair Hope, Spanish Fort and of all the places this one had the best selection of lemon and lime trees in the size and price range that worked for me. The biggest deciding factor was many of their trees were already bearing fruit which was pretty cool for trees that were under 6' tall. I only had room for one of each and they would be on either edge of my patio so it was a pretty big deal for me on my new retirement home. My expectation would be to have these trees as a very visible part of daily life and hopefully to make lots of cool "boat drinks" and other fun things from here on out, so yeah kind of a big deal. I made a couple trips there and on both occasions the same gentleman greeted me and answered a lot of questions and gave me some good advice on seasonal care, watering, fertilizing, etc and on my third visit I pulled the trigger and purchased my lemon and lime trees and brought to there new home. What I can tell you is they have a great selection of palms of all sizes, they have a small selection of local produce (I grabbed some tomatoes) and while they do have other shrubs, plants, flowers and such I can't be a super reviewer because I was really laser focused on my fruit trees. They take credit cards, the man they helped us was friendly enough and had lots of good answers and I put my trust in his hearty looking fruits trees and I've already had a number of rum & cokes with my big fat limes so there it is. I will be going back to his shop over the winter for some follow up stuff when ot's time for fertilizing and I will take more pictures and pay attention to some of the finer points of the establishment. However in the meantime, if you're in the market for a 4'-6' lemon or lime tree that already is producing fruit in the $30-$40 range then I can highly recommend this place :-) read more

NO ONE BUY FROM HERE! I hope he gets what he deserves and this place goes out of business. My mom bought a pot from there, once she arrived at home with it, she realized it was too small for the area she planned. She went back to exchange it, which she would spend more money, and he was so irrational. She wanted to exchange the pot for one that was $150 more, and buy a basin with a pump. The basin and pump would have cost approximately another $400. The receipt did not say anything about returns or exchanges. When I asked him where his policy was stated, he said, "ON MY REGISTER LADY" (did not see a sign anywhere). Not sure why he was so rude and disrespectful, especially when we were going to spend a total of $850. Then, told us to get off his f***** property. I don't understand why anyone would want to run a business this way. AVOID, this place and save yourself. read more

Horribly rude. We stopped here while in town to buy some plants and small trees. The owner was rude when we arrived, but we kept looking because they had some small palms I had been searching for. He yelled at me once telling me the trees I was looking at were already sold. However, there were no sold signs, we apologized and looked at other ones. We made our selection and went to front to pay, but he refused to take any payments other than cash. He obviously didn't want out of state customers. I am a local and I wanted to support a local business and buy some plants from him instead of buying from one of the big box stores. What a mistake. The owner has a extremely bad attitude. We were in there looking for palm trees...we know nothing about them because this is not our full time residence...he was angry, not nice at all, just nasty and yelled at us because we were asking questions about size and how they grow. He was not being helpful and talking to us like we were stupid. Running my own business for the last 20 years, I am at a disbelief this guys is still in business. The wife and I wanted to use someone local for our Palm Tree's, and had passed his place several times. We decided to stop in. While he was very abrasive and very apparent he did not like women, we were ready for some tree's and made quite a large order, about 10K. He called three weeks later stating they were bringing the tree's. We were like great! Once arrived, we were trying to remember exactly what we ordered so we could decide placement. Mike was very aggravated that we did not have the places laid out, cursed my wife twice, and that's when I sent him and his tree's away. Be very very cautious. Mike was very courteous and helpful and supplied an excellent and hard to find product. He took his time to assess the quality of my order and only sold me the best plants which as a novice was valued added for me. I plan to buy thru him the future as my experience was high quality. read more

Owner has a horrible attitude, he doesn't know the first thing about customer service. I've spent around 2k there and his last delivery was was a train wreck. I ask him to call me before he came to my house and of course he calls me from my house and I have to rush home to tell him where to plant one tree I purchased. He delivered another 12 15-gallon plants which I will plant. Got into an argument over type of payment and amount. I say they should get better in their communication skills and it set him off, cussing me and threatening to load all the plants up and leave after me waiting over two weeks for the delivery. After I went to the bank to get cash for him, I was the bigger person and said, " Sorry for the miscommunication", he said nothing to me, loaded his tools and left without a word. My advise even though he has good plants and prices, go elsewhere and pay more to not have to deal with this ungrateful and ridiculous acting owner, I certainly wouldn't go there again. read more

I called looking for Oleander. Mike answered the phone, so I asked if he had any and he said yes. I asked how many he had and how much. He said he had 10 and they were $12.95 and only took cash or check. I said thank you, no problem. We got there and Mike greeted us and said if I can help you with anything let me know. I asked where were his Oleander and he told me where to look. I went to where he said and there were only six. So I walked back and asked how much the bigger ones were because there were only 6. He told me the price of them and I said, I only see 6. He then raised his voice at me and said I told you where they were and I said yes, I found them but there are only 6. He proceeded to yell at me about how they were over there where he told me they were. I said what was the problem, why are you yelling at me. He said how about you leave! I said ok fine.
