I was appalled by the customer's words, and the poor cashier was visibly upset by the remark the customer made. I noticed rather quickly that management did absolutely nothing to diffuse the situation and basically allowed the customer to show blatant disrespect in front of other customers. To me, that is wildly unprofessional on management's part; nobody should get away with calling a kind worker "a mother****er" for just doing their job. I'm not sure what kind of policies allow this behavior, but I do not have any respect for places like that.
