It's great to see a Belleville favorite back and serving delicious food again. The restaurant recently reopened after extensive renovations while bringing back many of the classic menu favorites. I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza and the Schatze Wings, and both were excellent. The pizza was loaded with toppings--pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon with plenty of melted cheese and a perfectly crispy crust. Every bite was flavorful and fresh. The Schatze Wings were just as impressive. They were meaty, cooked perfectly, and coated in a delicious sauce that had the right amount of flavor without overpowering the chicken. They paired perfectly with the ranch. The atmosphere feels welcoming, and it's exciting to have this local staple back in the community. If you've been wondering whether it's worth checking out since the reopening, the answer is absolutely yes. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! Both were very good. Prompt service. You walk up To the order window next to the bar. They give you a ticket and brought it out to me. I sat there for a couple hours just watching the cardinals game. Bar tender was very nice and made sure she checked in on everyone that was at the bar. This regular guy that goes by moon I think bought everyone a round!! They are also known for their tacos. It's seat-yourself, so you have to kind of stalk a table that looks like it may empty out soon. I sat on the bench side of the tables along the front wall. I was not impressed with the gross that was behind there. It didn't seem to have been swept or mopped in quite awhile. Servers are nice, but you can tell they have regulars that they favorite, which is fair enough. I like special treatment at my regular hang out also. My only complaint with this was that the place was super busy, and I feel like the non-regulars were not being taken care of. Everything is very reasonably priced, and the food is pretty good. I'd come back here again when I'm in the mood for a cheap sports bar and low expectations.
