They have the newest technology and all records are on tablets. Kept my wife informed during surgery, and I was in and out to recovery in an hour. Doc fully debriefed my wife, answered all her questions. These folks care. I highly recommend this if you are doing day surgery!

Amanda has helped me by tackling my multiple issues one step at a time. She has really listened! I'm mean listened! This day and age I feel Dr and Nurses just don't go out of there way as much to really focus on what the patients are saying when I have had horrible moments of pain and crisis. I have a rare condition that I am currently in remission but the turn around has caused many issues with my nerves, muscles and bones. This past year I have had many huge obstacles and a roller coaster of pain. Amanda has been holding my hand the whole way!! From the very first visit I was so amazed that she gave me her time and knowledge to talk with me and really spend time getting to know my history and doing her best to help me through the the muddy waters with my pain. This was my very first pain management Dr and Rn I have gone to and I will never switch. So now a full year has passed and she has gotten me from crawling to walking all due to her diving in to help me with a tremendous amount of through navigating my heap of medical issues. Now, my pain that was once so bad rating always a 7 or higher to now a 3 or 4 !!!! Compared to a 8 and 9. From fixing my bone frailty, muscle pain, numbness, fractures to all the other rollercoaster crud that comes up Amanda has been my rock and the best freaking NP I HAVE EVER HAD In my 55 years. HORRIBLE PERSON! Terrible doctor!! My handicapped mother fell and could not walk for months. We…read moreBEGGED him to order an MRI (you cannot get an MRI in Abilene unless a Dr. orders one) he LITERALLY WOULD NOT ORDER an MRI for my mother! He was her primary care physician for gosh sakes. She went to rehab for two weeks all the while he was prescribing medication for her, but NO MRI. When she left rehab, she went to her lung doctor and told her the story. Her lung doctor could not believe he hadn't ordered an MRI yet. She ordered it and received the results...her FEMUR WAS BROKEN!! It has now healed incorrectly and she needs surgery to fix it, however, she cannot have surgery because of her health. She was bed ridden for a year thanks to this idiot. Going forward, she was scheduled to see a new doctor for two weeks, the morning of her appointment she was told she cannot see this new doctor because Dr. GAO has black listed her. If you value your health and your LIFE, I would NEVER see Dr. GAO. WOULD'T GIVE HIM ANY STARS, BUT ZERO STARS IT IS NOT AN OPTION.

Dr. Johnson exceeded my expectations by a wide margin! I was so very impressed with how attentive she was and the questions she asked to thoroughly investigate my issue. I could recognize a genuine concern for my well-being and she took plenty of time with me to make sure she hadn't overlooked anything. When she started suggesting solutions I was blown away by the direction she took, because she was thinking outside the box and is so up to date on the latest medical trends.
