I made an appointment and understood that they were in a temporary location while they renovate their new place. The Front Desk lady was super sweet. And the temporary location was very convenient and clean but had limited parking. As they waited, there was a few ladies standing at the front desk, talking in Spanish and at some point, they got a little heated. I don't understand, but I could tell that there was some conflict. I just got on my phone and minding my own business. Within a few minutes, everybody parted ways, and this Sweet gal who was running the front desk came to me to explain that a client had gone to the wrong room and she refused to move. She repeated more than once as she truly apologize but this client was just not willing to budge. I was a little discombobulated by exactly what was being conveyed when she said could you come back at 2 o'clock today? I'll give you a discount. I'm never un polite and I told her no I would not be able to come back today at 2 PM as I drove all the way from Punta Gorda. But thank you and I got up and I left. I could tell it absolutely wasn't her fault and I don't even think it was the client's fault. I think that it was miss rescheduled mishandled by the office as a whole. My wife and I had massages here this morning. My wife enjoyed hers but mine was lackluster to say the least. My massage therapist spent way too much time outside of the room. I don't believe she even looked at my paperwork to see what areas I said I wanted worked on as she spent more time on other parts of the body. Wasn't terrible but definitely lacked high quality. I like deep tissue and she doesn't disappoint. Even though she asks each time if there are problem areas (and I mostly say, no), Kalola always finds them and works them out. Booked two facials and two massages for my husband and I. We arrived about 30 min early and walked into an open room with a shirtless man. Gross. Then we left and can back 10 min early (instructed to come 15 min early) the door was locked we had to knock and were then let in by a woman who was in a flurry with the shirtless man still laying there getting candling which had just started. Wonderful professional atmosphere, nice decor and easy parking. I had a mixed 30 min/30 min massage that was perfect! They were able to get the knots out the first 30 then with the next relaxation massage for 30 minutes send me home on a cloud. My wife took the other room and at the same time had her 30/30 combination of facial, then massage. It was her first time and she loved it. Great date night idea, suprise her then head down to Ft. I'm no masochist but I wrestled in prep and college and my shoulders are shot at the tender young age of 44. Well had been trying to make an appointment for several days based on a referral from a friend. Mila and her co-worker Jenny Lynn are 2 of the best massage therapists I have seen. Both very knowledgeable and in tune of what your body needs. They had just moved into their new location and everything wasn't all finished, but close enough. I have had issues with my shoulder and neck. I can honestly say that when they were done I felt great. The next day was even better. I have seen Jenny several times and I experienced such techniques as never before. I didn't want her to stop whatever she was doing my body was making improvements and feeling imeaditly better. She was more concerned about my pain level than the clock. Even called later in the week to see how I was feeling. I have had surgery on my neck since then and when healed I will be back at Mila Spa. Both girls are beautiful and PROFESSIONAL. Explain to them any problems you are experiencing with your body. They will work magic and you'll wonder why you weren't there before.
