They are a rock band from Appleton, WI and were absolutely amazing. To be clear this isn't the Wedding Singer - These guys are rock stars with the skills to be on tour and play larger venues normally it looks like. We were really lucky to get them! Jason Lambie blew us away with his communication leading up to, and through the event. We wanted live music, but most of the bands around the area sounded terrible on their YouTube clips or played tacky wedding/party songs. The best man in the wedding is a bit of a singer/guitar player and the crowd pushed him onstage without planning and the band just rolled with it and let him play along. I was impressed as Half Empty are real musicians and I thought they'd be offended that he joined them for a song unexpectedly. These guys are pros and real entertainers! My family and guests thought we paid thousands more than we did. They are not a typical wedding band. They are made to play large crowds and are the best musicians I've seen in WI. If you have a chance for a festival, large corporate event sort of thing you need to book these guys. My family and friends DON'T DANCE and these guys had everryone on the floor singing along and dancing before the first song was even over. Even the over 50 crowd. I was stunned watching my older siblings and their kids all jamming together. These guys look and play like rockstars. They probably had $20-30k of guitars on the stage lined up, very cool drum stand and awesome stage set up. No lame sign hanging behind them or anything like that. To have the complete rock star package without the attitude blew us all away. Look no further. Book these guys immediately .and your guests will love you for providing the best cover band they've ever seen. Ever.

The museum itself is small but beautifully planned - and the exhibits rotate rather frequently. One of the things I really…read moreenjoyed about visiting this spot was the building itself, formerly a Masonic temple built in 1923. The flooring and woodwork were beautiful. But as far as the Houdini exhibit, I wasn't blown away. Several of the interactive pieces were not working. I did enjoy that you could get inside some of the items, like the milk can and a straight jacket, but I wouldn't recommend a trip here just for the Houdini exhibit. The History Museum at the Castle does have other exhibits, which depending on what's in house could make your visit more worthwhile.

The layout of this show was smartly designed. One side was all chairs for folks who wanted to sit, and the other side had some high tables and plenty of space to stand or put on your dancing shoes and shake your booty! All but the Mexico-based Capitanes began play in the 2017-18 season. The Herd did well in the last season the team played, the 2019-20 season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. That season, head coach Chase Buford led the team to the top of the Central Division standings with a 33-10 (.767) record. Chase is the son of San Antonio Spurs executive and five-time NBA champion, RC Buford. He's since been hired to become the new head coach of the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League (NBL) of Oceania. The Herd was one of 11 teams to opt out of the "2020-21" season which, like the 2020 NBA Bubble, took place inside a bubble at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex outside of Orlando. The regular season was only 15 games and the eight-team playoff was single-elimination. The 2021 G League Bubble took place February 9 through March 11, 2021. The Herd are the 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate. The Herd play in the 3,500-seat Oshkosh Arena, just south of the Fox River and downtown Oshkosh. Unlike many G League teams, Oshkosh Arena was built especially for the Herd. It opened in 2017 as Menominee Nation Arena. It's roughly 90 miles / a 1.5-hour drive north of the Bucks' home, Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee.
