What an amazing experience. We spent my birthday at Miles Garrett Wines and it was such a magical time. Miles went the extra distance and even picked us up from our AirBnB and drove us to his wonderful winery. The views are absolutely wonderful, even with some rain we still had a great time. Miles treated us like personal friends while he taught us all about winemaking and his journey. His wife made us a tasty charcuterie board as well. If you like delicious natural wines I highly recommend visiting Miles. I've never had a wine tasting that felt so personal and to be able to hang out with the original winemaker is quite awesome too. Hands down the best winery experience. Miles was very welcoming and informational about his wine making. We called the day before and they were able to be available for us to stop by, but more notice would be better. This was a very relaxed experience with remarkable views, I highly recommend spending a few hours here. read more

Miles, Clara, and Phillippe were so accommodating. We called the day of on the off chance that they could provide a tasting--and they did! Phillippe was wonderful-very friendly. We interrupted his work day but he set up a wine tasting, no problem. We got a tour of the facility and the beautiful grounds. We tasted the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel - all unique and delicious. Miles and Clara made us feel right at home and Clara showed us her artwork used on the wine labels. Phillippe's dog Sam, even came along on a tour of the vineyards and "helped" us load our case and a half in the car! It was a most wonderful afternoon. Merci, Phillippe! read more

Really great place, we had a wonderful experience. We were in the area enjoying the Trinity River and I found Miles Garrett Winery on the internet looking for something to do in addition to river time. I contacted Miles through the website and asked if we could visit for wine tasting and we set up a time and date. We drove slow not to pass peach tree lane, a short steep drive up from there but no problem. The property is gorgeous, Miles was very hospitable and shared his wine experience and process. I fell in love with the Rosé of Sangiovese which is a sparkling wine, although my friends had other favorites. My prior experience is from the Russian River, Santa Barbara, Solvang and Temecula in addition to just growing up in fine dining restaurants, waiting tables, managing, bartending and cocktailing in SoCal and NY. This was absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a winery. Possibly because Miles is the owner, the small personal touch, great wine, and it felt like we we were just hanging with a friend.
