I showed up 15 minutes late for my first appointment because of a traffic jam. Rebecca was in her car ready to go (I didn't know it was her at the time) when she saw me walking in. She left anyway. I stood outside her door knocking and waiting. I called her & she told me that she decided to leave because I was late. In shock & disbelief, all I could say was, "Oh." Then she just kept saying UMMM and UHHH until I told her not to worry about it and hung up. This extremely unprofessional behavior is on top of the fact that she never gave a courtesy call/email/text leading up to my appointment. read more

We are a multidimensional treatment facility, providing foster/proctor homes and parents who strive to provide the best family oriented environments. Milestone Counseling is in need of good and healthy families that will open their hearts and homes for our foster kids. We specialize in kids 8 to 18 years old and kids and adults with disabilities. The state requires you be at least 21 years old, be able to pass a background check, and not use Foster care as the only form of income. Foster parents get compensated between $750 to $2300 a month. We need loving families that don't foster purely for the compensation.

Brian K. Campbell, LMFT, Program Director of Milestone Counseling Services, LLF has over 20 years experience working with troubled teens in a variety of settings, including: residential treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, group homes, foster homes and outpatient mental health. He has extensive experience treating: oppositional defiance/conduct disorder, drug and alcohol abuse, juvenile sex offenders, and pornography and sexual addiction treatment. Currently Brian is certified with Utah NOJOS for the treatment of juvenile sex offenders. In addition Brian specializes in individual marriage and family, and group therapy.

We reached out and set up appointments to be seen here at their Ogden location and I received a message later to call regarding some questions they had and it turns out they don't prescribe Subutex. Suboxone contains an ingredient that is very irritant to the stomach and esophagus. My father passed away from esophageal cancer, and I also suffered from GERD and Crohn's. Taking regular Suboxone every day gave me nausea and it made me very ill. I was switched to subutex where I began to thrive in recovery. These people do not prescribe that medication and it's very discriminatory. My husband also has a very sensitive stomach, probably from the years of drug addiction and drug usage. It makes total sense to put a patient on the medication. They feel most comfortable these doctors want to dictate my recovery by not giving me the medication that makes me the most comfortable. if I were to go back on Suboxone, I would have to go up on a higher dosage and then I would also be miserable from nausea every single day. That's not the kind of place. I want to go for treatment. I want people involved in my treatment program that care about my every day quality of life.

I have worked here for 5 years now and this company really tries to make a difference with all our clients. There are several different programs all designed to help adults with disabilities, children in the Foster system and many more. Sometimes the work is hard but it is also very important and everyone that works here knows that. read more
