Even the dreaded staging was conducted with respect, pragmatism, professionalism and efficiency; and with an added responsiveness that went beyond the call of duty, as it had to be done to such tight timelines. Throughout the open houses, receiving of offers, and coming to contract closure we were similarly delighted with the extraordinary smoothness of the transactions, and the speed and quality of results. Watching Kathy 'do her thing' during the offers meeting was a sight to behold: I have never felt more confident - and relieved - to have such an important negotiation in another person's hands. On weekdays when I was at work or away on a business trip, Laura readily agreed to pickup my parents from my apartment and accompanied them to the open houses. My parents who are not used to the house hunting in the US told me that Laura was very cordial and gave the pros and cons of the properties. Even when she had undergone medical treatment and was recuperating she was contacting us to see the properties coming on the market.
