Ms Indira
Tommy L.

The teachers and staff did a really great job in shaping our kids. Ms Indira, Ms Maria, and Ms Bavna are the reason why we drive so far to drop off and pick up our children each and every day. Especially Ms Indira. She's a no nonsense type of educator who uses patience to teach kids manners and a well rounded curriculum. Thanks Milestone! We will miss you!

Had fun in school today

My daughter attended this school since 11months old. Our family moved house, we are changing school for our daughter since distance became an issue now. However, we love this school and love all the teachers! My daughter will miss her teachers and friends!!

Outdoor area with bikes

I have 2 kids here (2.5yrs and 10 months) and they/ we LOVE this school. We've been here for about a year with my son and added my daughter a few months ago. 1. The campus. We toured at least 10 schools, and even in the nicest/most expensive the classrooms felt so cramped and dark. There is so much space here and natural light. And it's super clean and well-stocked. We also love the covered outdoor areas for the younger kids 2. The teachers. Both my kids love their teachers and are well bonded. My son constantly talks about "going back to school" and references his teachers on the weekends. 3. The staff. Everyone is so friendly and knows every kid by name. There are great touches (like , the school iguana) or the book fairs, extra curriculars, etc. and it's secure. When we have family pick the kids up the staff immediately recognizes them as someone new and everyone has a unique passcode 4. The curriculum. My kids are young but they're learning so much. My 2.5yr old knows his abcs, can count to 15, and regularly comes home with new facts - like naming all the planets. We're grateful to have found this school.

Christmas artwork from my baby made by Ms. Christine in the Pink Room. What a treat!

Milestones Montessori has been a wonderful school and day care for our infant daughter. Our daughter joined the school's Pink Classroom (the classroom for infants younger than one year old) when she was 4 months and we are taking her out this month because we are moving to northern California. The Pink room's head teacher, Ms. Christine, is an exceptional teacher and caretaker for all the babies in the room. She is so warm and caring and knows how to take care of all types of babies. She has done a wonderful job training her assistant teachers so that the babies are in capable hands at all times of the day. Ms. Christine is also a great advisor to new parents and gives parents tips on how to calm, feed and develop our children. She even goes out of her way to make artwork for the parents on holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines Day. I would highly recommend Milestones and leaving your child with Ms. Christine in the pink room.

Dear Ms. Ruby, Ms. Susie & Ms. Jessica -…read more I wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the beautiful graduation ceremony you hosted yesterday. It was clear from every detail that an enormous amount of care, creativity, and dedication went into making it such a special occasion. As a parent, watching our children take the stage with such confidence, poise, and genuine excitement was an absolute joy. The fact that they were so well-rehearsed and yet still completely in the moment is a true testament to the incredible work your teachers and staff do every single day. The event was so thoughtfully organized, and it showed. Every moment felt intentional and meaningful, leaving all of us parents with full hearts and the biggest smiles. These are the memories our families will treasure for years to come. Please know how deeply appreciated you all are, not just for yesterday, but for everything you pour into these children throughout the year. You don't just teach them; you help them grow into kind, capable, and confident little people. Yesterday was a beautiful reflection of that. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making this milestone so truly unforgettable. With warm gratitude, Happy Mama

Our experience with Irvine Montessori School has been good. From the front desk where Ms. Ruby and…read moreMs. Suzie manage parent interactions, to classroom teachers like Ms. Ana and Ms. Angie, the commitment to the children is evident. Our child has shown progress in language and social skills, and the staff puts clear effort into milestones like graduation ceremonies and holiday events. The campus itself is clean and modern. This is definitely one of the top 10 Montessori schools in Orange County. Refine a few operational details, and they have the potential to easily break into the top 5. Areas for Improvement: Teacher rotation does cause disruption in student learning. While staffing shifts are common, the school needs to do a better job of getting ahead of these rotations and being proactive about the transitions. Furthermore, the administration should establish a structured, year-round channel for parental feedback. While daily communication from individual teachers is fine, an administrative feedback loop like bi-annual parent surveys would allow families to share insights on scheduling logistics, administrative clarity, or classroom dynamics. It remains a solid option for families in Irvine, and showing better foresight regarding teacher transitions and structured parent communication will help them reach that next level.

Ms. Han and Ms. Bianca have made such a difference in our son's life. They genuinely care about his growth, both academically and emotionally, and we feel completely at ease dropping him off each day. The best feeling as a parent is watching your child run into the classroom excited, not even looking back. He talks about his teachers at home all the time, which says everything. Assistant Director Ms. Laure is also such a bright light at the school. She's always there at drop-off and pick-up with the warmest smile, greeting families and somehow knowing every child by name. She's incredibly kind, helpful, and truly sets the tone for such a welcoming environment. We feel so grateful to be part of this school community. Ms. Laure welcomed us and showed us around--she was so warm and friendly, which made us feel at ease right away. Luckily, there was a spot available for our baby, and we enrolled her. What I really appreciated was how thoughtfully they helped our baby transition into daycare. She started by going just a couple of hours at first, and now, she happily waves goodbye at drop-off and goes into her classroom excited to see her teachers and play with her friends. Fast forward 10 months later, and our daughter has learned so much and truly enjoys being here. The teachers are all wonderful and caring, even with some staff changes along the way. Both Ms. Laure and Ms. Kari stand out for being especially kind, professional, and supportive. Overall, this daycare has made the transition much smoother and more positive than I expected. I'm so grateful our daughter is here--it feels like the right place for her to grow and thrive.

We toured many daycares- some in-home ones and others with facilities (ChildTime, etc) but none compared to this. Our first in-home daycare before arriving at Little Explorers was truly abysmal (breast milk wasted, instructions not followed, few updates, TV on every day...), so when we toured Little Explorers and saw the peaceful environment and amazing parent experiences, we were truly so relieved. My daughter has been now at Little Explorers for just over a year and I've felt such a peace of mind having her there. The app updates and photos were so appreciated, especially when she was fussy with breast milk and transitioning to various foods. In many instances Ms. Julia was able to get my daughter to drink more milk than I could even do at home. In addition, my daughter's egg allergy was taken seriously and I am so glad the school provides NUTRITIOUS healthy food that is home cooked! She loves the birds and bunnies there, as well as socializing with the other kids. Highly recommend this place to any new and experienced parents :).

We are eternally grateful for the role they have played in shaping our son into the kind and curious little boy he is today. Not only is he leaps and bounds ahead in his language and math skills, but more importantly, he has developed a strong sense of integrity, empathy, and independence. Every day, we dropped him off knowing he was in the care of people who genuinely loved and cared about him and his development. I believe that that type of peace of mind is something every parent hopes to find. In fact, among all the excitement for starting kindergarten, one of the first questions he asked was "will Ms. Julia be there." The memories we built here are priceless, and Julia and Vlad will continue to be part of our lives as family friends. We wholeheartedly recommend Little Explorers to anyone looking for a place where their child will not only learn, but truly thrive.

I'm constantly told what a wonderful young man he is, and I believe the character-building foundation at LePort Montessori has been exceptional in shaping who he is today. At LePort Spectrum North, he has had the most caring and thoughtful teachers--Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Masha, Ms. Cassandra Kolacinski, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Robin. My older daughter did great in the toddler program but we started to see issues when she moved to Primary. I met with Ms. Ana many times where we tried bringing in books from home or I sent her pictures and Ms. Ana made a special work item for my daughter to keep her interest. Eventually we found out that my daughter is Autistic. At that point I asked Ms. Ana to work with me to have a Behavioral Therapist in the school with my daughter. Very long story short, this Montessori environment is not the right environment for my neurodivergent child. But over the last 2 years I have spent upwards of 50 hours on the phone and in Ms. Ana's office trying to find ways to help my daughter succeed. Ms. Ana never gave up trying to help us. I love the Montessori curriculum and LePort was able to nurture my daughter's intelligence where she has just turned 5 and is reading chapter books and learning division. My younger daughter is currently having a blast in Ms. Ivette's classroom. A word of advice for parents experiencing behavioral issues - get your child assessed. My relationship with my daughter improved infinitely once I had professionals helping me understand how her mind works and how to speak to her in a way that she understands.

A Truly Wonderful Montessori School -- Highly Recommended!…read more My daughter went to this Montessori school since she was an infant, progressing through the toddler and preschool classrooms, and we couldn't be more grateful for the experience she's had over the past three years. The growth we've seen in her socially, emotionally, and academically has been remarkable. The teachers, especially Ms. Shelby, Ms. Chloe, and Ms. Sal, have been nothing short of amazing. They create a warm, nurturing environment where the kids feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn. My daughter absolutely adores them. One of the things we appreciate most is how the school follows a thoughtful Montessori curriculum that helps children learn independence, discipline, and responsibility through hands-on activities. At M.I.A., she has learned great life skills such as putting away her things, confidence, independence, cooking, writing, healthy snacking, folding clothes, and politeness, to name a few. When we were at her annual doctor's appointment, my daughter impressed all of the other parents in the doctor's waiting room when she got up from the kids table and pushed her chair all by herself (a polite habit she was taught in her M.I.A. preschool class!). One of the highlights of this school is the lunch program: a very nutritious, rotating menu of Japanese-style dishes that you can opt-into. My daughter loves broccoli, fish, and many new foods now because of the healthy lunches at M.I.A. There are so many fun events throughout the year, such as the Sports Festival (Undokai), plays/musicals, cooking classes, observation weeks, cultural events, and the school is great about sharing pictures of the students' activities so we can get a sense of their days. Also, there are many options for afterschool extracurricular activities, which my daughter loves! PE Class, Japanese Dance, Piano Lessons, Art, Nenchu class, Karate/Kendo, and more. Sometimes when we arrive to pick her up after school, she tells us that "we came too early" -- because she's having so much fun and wants to stay at school even longer! It took a couple weeks of transition, as is to be expected, but once she got into the routine and became familiar with her teachers and the other students, she is happy to be there. She often just wants to keep playing when I come to pick her up at the end of the day! Our daughter is in Ms. Melgar's class. We have had a great experience with Ms. Melgar. She keeps us up to date on our daughter's progress and has reached out to us to discuss things like potty-training and what tasks are being taught in school. The Montessori philosophy is about helping kids learn age-appropriate life skills, and that for kids, play is their form of work because it's how they learn. Ms. Melgar makes an effort to spend one-on-one time with each child in the class to help them develop skills like pouring water into a cup, washing their hands, doing puzzles, making their snack, and mopping the floor. They also do artistic activities like painting and crafts. Our daughter has learned so much already in the 3 months she's been at school and her vocabulary is growing a ton too! They have a great student-teacher ratio. Although the requirement by law is 1 teacher for every 6 students, they almost always have more teachers around than this minimum. The teachers do a great job of keeping parents in the loop and sending daily updates on how long the children napped, how much of their snacks and lunch they ate, and bathroom/diaper updates. They have child-sized toilets and they teach the children how to sit on the toilets (even if they are still in diapers) just to familiarize them with it, which should make potty-training easier when the time comes. They allot about 2.5 hours for nap time, where the lights are off and shades are closed and the room is quiet. Kids who wake up early can play quietly, but it's a very conducive environment for kids who need a longer nap. Our daughter routinely naps 2.5 and sometimes even 3 hours at school.

When we caught glimpses of the teacher and student interactions we could see that there was genuine care for the well-being of each of the children and the teachers were very knowledgeable and available to give us advice. It was also pretty amazing that the staff know each of the kids by name! How they manage to do that with so many kids, I have no idea. But it just speaks to the individual attention that they provide. From the very first few months we were very impressed at all the progress our son made and how quickly he picked up new knowledge and skills. And within the 3 years that he has been there now, he has learned so much and we feel he is more than ready to move on and start his kindergarten year. We would recommend this campus to anyone looking for a preschool with an authentic Montessori experience and wonderful teachers and staff.
