Sometimes you just get lucky, and I feel like I hit the jackpot with Carter Coleman. I've seen many massage therapists over the years, and I let them drive the session and give them feedback as we go along (as to how my body is reacting). Many people give a decent spa-oriented massage, but if you have real pain you want real relief. This is why Carter's talent is so special. She's not just well-educated in her field and genuinely loves it, but she has the remarkable ability to zero-in on your pain's exact point-of-origin. Sometimes that spot is not where you expect it to be! What I (and others) had thought was a neck problem turned out to be deep in my scapula muscles. With the precision of a sniper, and perfect aim, she released knots in my back and shoulders that others had not been able to find. After years of pain, it took three sessions to relieve this very old, long-standing injury by 80 percent. By the fourth session, it was 100 percent healed. This is one of those rare occasions when you get in on the ground floor of a valuable investment, and I'm just glad I got in as a regular client before she becomes too popular to accept new ones. read more

Wonderful experience! I get massages about 6 times a year. This was one of the best I've had! Amanda was perfect! I looked into getting a massage or facial on Wednesday night and everything for Saturday was booked. I knew this must be a great spa. I was also impressed with the various massage and facial options. Not just your run of the mill choices. On a whim Friday, I decided to check for any last minute cancellations. There was ONE spot for a massage the next day with Amanda. I booked it! That is actually the only complaint I have - the scheduling system UX was a little bit clunky - but I got everything set up easily enough and I was on my phone. Maybe I scheduling is better on the actual browser based site. Milk Thistle is easy to get to and they have a couple of parking spots behind the spa. I noticed they opened at 10 am and that was the time slot I had been able to score. I went to the door about ten mins early and they were set up and ready already. Amanda greeted me and had me fill out the short intake form. The atmosphere in the check-in/ check-out area was friendly. When Amanda took me back she reviewed my goals for the massage and asked specific questions about what I did and didn't want her to focus on. I liked the music in the room (relaxing bird sounds, water, music). While friendly, fun, and chatty during my intake, Amanda didn't say a word while she worked skillfully on my back and arms with medium to deep pressure. I prefer not to talk much during my massages so this was ideal! When I flipped to my back I made a comment and we did start talking and it was a fun, funny conversation. There was a tender spot and I asked her to adjust her pressure and she did that perfectly too. Best Massage that I have ever had! Tera is gifted! She knows exactly where to find the knots in my body that I didn't even know were there! I had chronic headaches and tried just about everything ( chiropractic, medication, acupuncture) then a friend of mine recommended Tera at Milk Thistle. I was a little apprehensive at first because my past experiences with massage weren't that great. I am just so glad that I went! I realize that my headaches are caused from muscles in my neck and back. With the help of Tera and her wonderful treatments my headaches are gone!!!! WOW!! What a massage! I reached out just a day in advance and they were able to fit me in for a 2 hour session with Nichole. I have had a lot of massages/body work in my life and used to get massages several times a month. I'm pretty particular and it's always hard for me to be happy with my massage because I've had so many. My massage tonight with Nichole was for sure in the top 5 best I have ever had in all of my travels and massages! The atmosphere of the spa is comfortable, private and laid back. The rooms are large and the tables are very comfortable and they use adequate sheets and blankets to keep you from getting cold. The sheets are soft and comfy, inviting you to even take a nap! I would absolutely come back here every time I'm in Bozeman and so long as Nichole is still around, I'll be requesting her again! 2 hours was awesome, but Nichole's technique was so good that I wasn't fatigued and could have gone for another hour or two. Sunshine is awesome! I was in Bozeman for the holidays and arrived with some major knots and pain in my neck and shoulders. Sunshine was very attentive to my requests for more pressure, and she gave me an hour-long massage complete with a hot towel and this amazing cream that felt cool on contact. I'm in love with Milk Thisle Skin Care!!r.t he front desk staff who helped me with check-in and check-out (Tera ) was very sweet and professional. The entire spa is super, super, super clean, from top to bottom. They have someone round-the clock cleaning, replenishing towels, refilling amenities (everything from the soap dispensers to the cucumber water in the sitting room). The steam room is delightful! Now, on to the actual massage... I got a 90 minute deep tissue with Tera . And as they advertise, you get a FULL 90-Minutes! Tera is a massage genius. She asked what I wanted, checked-in a few times and by far gave me one of the best massages in my life (and I've had plenty). If you like deep tissue, she definitely your gal.! Came in for a full leg and bikini wax. Tera did a great job. She was professional, mellow and fun to chat with. The space is really well put together, full of hand picked antique/restored furniture, very clean and calming. I stopped by Milk Thistle for a post winter facial in hopes of restoring some moisture and regaining the glow that the weather had taken away. I saw Jessica for a collagen infusion treatment/facial. Jessica has a very healing touch, not only did she help restore the moisture that I had lost, but she also taught me about my skin and helped clear up some other problem areas. It has been a few weeks since my treatment and my skin is still glowing and super soft. I also noticed a reduction in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth, I will defiantly be back to see Jessica again. I couldn't be more thrilled to find this new Skincare and Massage studio! Milk Thistle is extremely serene and beautiful inside. This is what walking into a spa should feel like! The colors are soothing, the music relaxing, and the smell instantly calming. Before my treatment I was able to use their sauna to further relax and loosen my muscles. A nice touch! Both therapists are amazing. Tera is the best masseuse I have ever been to. She has given me both incredibly soothing, relaxing massages and therapeutic massage. She was able to work on a calf injury that has been bothering me for some time. She is a true healer and her work on my leg has sped up my recovery. I can't get enough of her massages! Tera also has the most delicate manner of lash tinting. I have very sensitive eyes and she was able to give me dramatically beautiful lashes without any irritation whatsoever. I couldn't be happier! I have also experienced fantastic services from Jessica. I recently got the rejuvenating collagen facial from Jessica. Jessica has the perfect "touch" for facial work. Her hands can work some relaxation magic! The foot and scalp massages incorporated into the facial took it up a notch. Jessica really goes the extra mile! My skin was glowing after and I received several compliments on my complexion that evening! Jessica is also a wonderful waxer and really is able to minimize the pain of waxing while achieving smooth and lasting results.
