I had been in a wonderful mood after visiting another Salvos store earlier that day and bought 25 childrens' books for $3. When I went to this store they were charging $1.25 per book. I still thought the price was reasonable so I approached the counter to purchase around 10 books. At the counter there were 3 staff members, all attending to 1 man. I stood there patiently and waited, slightly annoyed that they chose to ignore me. There was no 'I'll be right with you' or 'be with you in a moment', I was completely ignored. Eventually one of the ladies greeted me with a 'I suppose I can serve you now.' As she put through my sale and I gave her the money I asked if they accept student cards, the lady ignored me and continued putting through the sale, I asked again, ignored, I spoke up, ignored. When she handed me my change she simply said 'no' and turned her back to me and began talking to the other staff members. I was frustrated to get home and find out that the Salvos offer 20% off to students on Wednesdays AND that the lady had overcharged me. I live quite far from this store so I was unable to just pop back and why would I want to see those terrible women ever again? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY RIP YOU OFF!
