We had an absolute amazing time on this trail! Not only was the guide amazing, the whole adventure was scenic and worth every penny. All the horses were very well taken care of, extremely soft, and super well behaved. The trails were both wide open and woodsy, and overall a rustic experience that made you feel like you were one with nature. I would recommend this for anybody, whether they are a beginner or well-versed in riding horses. I went into it being a little bit nervous, but felt like a natural within a few minutes. We could not have asked for a better day and I look forward to the next time we get to experience this adventure again. A+ read more

The ride was good, the staff didn't really talk to us when we first arrived or even when we were done. The ride we booked supposedly came with a bonfire. We were not guided or talked to about the bonfire everyone just left. read more

I have nothing but the best to say about MTR. Ive been coming here for years and plan to continue. They set you up with a tour guide that makes you feel extremely comfortable. They match you with a horse you feel most comfortable with, show you the fundamentals, and even help you get on. Also, while making sure the saddle is all set for the ride. The trails are absolutely stunning and it's really fun and relaxing to ride. The scenery is incredible and peaceful. They even have a sunset ride, that includes a fire after! We were told we would receive a refund 3 times only to be told we would not a week later Long story, some highlights: -When speaking to the host Carol on the phone, rather than arguing I told her I would let her speak first then I would speak. She yelled for a while then refused to let me calmly tell my side of the story, hanging up on me 3 times while I tried to speak reasonably. She still has not heard what occurred. She referenced proof of her side of the story at some point during the conversation so I requested this proof via text. She refused to provide it by calling me, yelling, and hanging up yet again. -Separately, Meredith fell asleep while speaking on the phone about the situation. During this conversation she told me I would receive a refund and a call the next day. When I called her back a week later she said she was sleepy so she doesn't really know what she was saying. Took the 1 hour ride with 4 other riders and our leader (I think her name is Cassie) lead us through open fields and through fairly dense brush and trees, up and down embankments and through the creek a few times. Not the worst trail ride I've been on but not the best. The tour guide got lost and took us through parts of the woods that were not trails causing everyone to get with branches and lose hats. The horse that I was on was not well trained so luckily I know how to ride already and was able to handle the horse, but first time riders, like most people in the group would have struggled. The guide only paid attention to those in the front and left two young girls, probably around the age of 12, in the back and would constantly leave them behind. read more

For beginners, they will take you on a nice trail but if you are a little more experienced the 2-hour trail ride was great. I feel horrible saying this, but my time at Millbrook was honestly traumatizing. We went here on a Girl Scout trip and as a crazy horse girl, I was ecstatic! They have a beautiful property, however, I would not recommend this to someone with no experience. At this time I was in fifth grade, so we were all a bunch of squealing, ignorant ten-year-olds who had no idea how to control a horse. As a submissive and timid child, I had a very hard time. Because of this, I ended up getting knocked off in a gallop by a tree branch because I couldn't control my horse, and another girl in my troupe also flew right off. For how young I was, my love of horses was sucked away, and I vowed to never ride one again. Stumbling upon this place years later, I'm still scared of horses, so in conclusion, I think it's good to have some knowledge and confidence when it comes to horseback riding, especially if you're a kid. read more

This horseback riding farm was amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted by a cute little goat! The tour guide was so sweet and friendly!!! My girls felt so comfortable getting on the horses from the get go! There are a lot of beautiful horses that are very well taken care of!!! I so enjoyed all the friendly animals roaming freely around the farm. Goats to cows to dogs!! The horses were so gentle and friendly! The prices to ride were very reasonable and my daughters enjoyed going all through the woods to ride! Because your allowed to walk around freely you really appreciate the farm and animals! Absolutely loved riding at Millbrook Trail rides! The property is gorgeous. We rode through corn mazes, pastures, bridges, and beautiful streams. Our trail guide Meredith was awesome. She informed us about the horses, and made us comfortable, ensuring that we are riding correctly. There were also pigs, a goat, and dogs in the barn. Went here for our son's birthday we found that the trails were very exciting but somewhat challenging for anybody who has never been on a horse, a lot of drop offs and very narrow pathways horses had great temperament and followed each other without much guidance only downside to the experience was the staff was very hard to communicate with and we felt that we were neglected a majority of the experience. We brought our son here for his birthday and we did not expect a special treatment but we thought that we would get more of a explanation and reason on when we were doing things and why we were doing them. I wouldn't go back only because the lack of Involvement from the staff we felt ignored from the beginning that we walked in to the end of the trip where there was a quick thanks for coming. It felt rushed and we did not feel the price we paid was fair for the experience. Also in the description there was a bonfire afterwards described which was never even mentioned or took place this would have been nice to have a yes or no answer on or even an explanation on to why this was not happening when it's clearly written in detail that it would. read more
