I ended up finding a 60's Cedar Waxwing cup, which I promptly set my heart on; it is now safely sitting on my collectibles shelf. I was so sad that Cece and Moses (the owners) had to move out of their old location on 700 East - it was such a beautiful space that they worked so hard on. Their new location is definitely worth a visit too though. You'll find the same attention to beautiful design and amazing curation here. Cece's taste is second to none! Their family and employees are so friendly too and I'm amazed at how well Cece knows the store if you're looking for something specific. Yesterday, my wife and I were in the area looking for some local goodies as Christmas presents and made our way into Hip & Humble. The outside is very inviting-I love the color of the house-turned-retail building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Mabe, the beautiful resident dog. She happily sniffed us, let us pet her and then she went back to her duties of wandering the store. Any place that has a dog is A-OK in my book! Each item in the shop appears to have been carefully curated to be here. Nothing seems out of place or odd. I love every item and how cohesive everything feels. Up front, you'll find an assortment of knick-knacks, home goods, soaps & lotions, etc. Toward the back is a room full of unique women's clothing and accessories. The owner visited with us briefly and we felt very welcome to be there. It's a fun atmosphere with adorable items. I look forward to returning for additional gift items in the future.
