Let's just say this woman caused my mommy issues. She is a total man hater, a total witch. Rushed the theraupic process of reunification which led to severe emotional distress characterized by symptoms consistent with stressor and trauma related disorders. As a child, I used to curl up in a fetal position and cry every night before our court mandated sessions. She was supposed to give us "reunification therapy", what we received was biased, cold, apathetic, vicarious agendas, likely stemming from her own issues. It is dangerous to put a vulnerable person in her office. Terrifying thought. I felt so powerless being forced to sit in her office every week against my will with my mother in the room, way too soon for me to be comfortable with it. Verbatim, she told me (after I opened up to her about how I wasn't comfortable reinstating contact with my mother, "Well it has to happen. So get used to it." Cold as hell, lips pressed flat and thin, eyes staring daggers at my confused, hopeless 9 year old self. I am still a people pleaser and have trouble with advocacy and boundary setting to this day. I still have issues following through with therapy, with vulnerability, with trusting therapists to this day. Her clients are probably ALL court mandated because I have no idea who could stay in session with this evil woman. Disgrace to the world of mental and psychology, one I am now in having been motivated to never screw up a child's mind the way she did mine. BEWARE!!! If you want to make your mental health and family relationships worse, not better, Michelle is for you! If you want to make any sort of positive change and sign up for an unbiased, trauma-informed, person-centered-care experience, I would find someone else. Very gravely do I warn you about just how dangerous it is this woman is license to provide therapeutic services. I truly fear for any other child or person in her care. I ended our last session by saying: "I'm sick. Sick of coming here." 9 years old, people. Enough said. I cried tears of joy the first Wednesday morning I spent outside of her office. Having been my first custody evaluation (hopefully my last) I wasn't sure what to expect. I can't relate whatsoever to the prior reviews seen here but the end result of my evaluation exceeded my expectations. True that Michelle isn't exceptionally warm and inviting but she remained neutral during all of the interviews, data collection etc. and she was able to see through all the lies my ex-spouse tried to paint. You're not paying for someone to chum up with, you're seeking a factual, by the book, neutral evaluator. If you feel you're a great dad who feels like they are getting unfairly shorted on keeping your kids in your life then I believe Michelle gives you a fighting chance. In a system that is seemingly against dads (but getting better) you may find an advocate in Michelle. Be honest and forthcoming and she'll give you a neutral evaluation based on what she sees. Was it the best experience of my life? No. Was it worth every penny? A resounding YES. read more

I wish it were possible to give her zero stars. I dealt with her in regards to a custody evaluation. My ex constantly cancelled appointments with her and this never reflected in the report she wrote. She screwed up my son's age THREE times in the report (on one page he was 3, one page he was 4 and one page he was 6. He was actually 5 at the time). She was supposed to do home visits at my home and my ex's home. My ex cancelled the appointment so she NEVER DID THE HOME VISIT with my ex, but did not state that in the report. She ultimately recommended my ex have SOLE custody. A few years after that, my son witnessed my ex literally stab and partially disembowel a neighbor. My ex went to prison and my son came to live with me and has been in therapy for 4 years now. Oh yeah, my ex has a wrap sheet as long as my arm for similar violent behavior that I made Michelle aware of. I have no idea why this insensitive, cruel woman thinks that she is in the right field. She is not. Luckily, my son has "recovered" from the horrible situation and Michelle Millenacker will never have a chance to ruin my son's life again. RUN, don't walk away from her. There are plenty of kind, compassionate psychologists out there. She is not one. read more

I have found Dr. Millenacker to be thourogh, professional, responsive and knowledable! Psychologists who do evaluations have a different role than therapists. I have worked with Dr. Millenacker for many years and is well regarded by her peers! read more

Wow! Your review was right on the money. She treated me and my family the same way. She is an evil person!!!! Lacks any compassion or she was a parenting consultant hired to help me and my ex wife makes decisions about our children. She really screwed my life and my kids' lives. She was very bias and unfair. She did not follow her contract, the divorce decree or the rules of a parenting consultant. She was allowed to make binding decisions. I had to go to court to have one of her agreements vacated. The judge did so and found that she did not have authority to do what she had done. I compiled all the documentation and turned her into the State Board Of Psy and also the Mn Judicial Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. The Mn Judicial ruled that she violated the rules of conduct and State Board of Phy is still investigating. She is appealing the violation and there is a hearing with a panel of judges on July 25.
