This is THE most expensive smoke shop in grass valley. A lot of stuff that they carry is cheaper at literally any other smoke shop in grass valley. I understand they're running a business but you will literally never get any good deals here. The staff are all really nice and helpful but you are better off shopping at one of the Arab owned smoke shops where they WILL haggle with you and give you discounts for being a regular customer. 50 pack of whippet brand nitrous cartridges that I bought at the cigarette store off McKnight are 20 dollars, whereas at millennium the exact same box goes for 40 dollars. read more

I'm super disappointed in the experience I just had at this shop. The cost of exchanging a moldy product and the store manager being so unhelpful cost this shop some very loyal customers. My boyfriend comes in here all the time (at least once per month) to buy $50+ bottles of kratom. He's bought minimum 20 bottles from Millenium, and his account will reflect that. He bought a bottle less than a month ago and was taking it as usual, as well as storing it the same way he has stored the last 20+ bottles he's purchased. He was struggling to get some capsules out and banged the bottle against his hand, and as you can see, the entire bottom of the bottle was moldy. I called Millenium and talked to a helpful employee who said that the owner would be in later that night and to come in so he could directly resolve the issue: I didn't get to drop by that night, but I went today at 12:30. My only expectation was to exchange the 3 quarters full bottle for a new one. I walked in and spoke to some guy who identified himself as the store manager. I explained him the situation and he said that it was impossible I called yesterday and that someone told me the owner would be in because the owner is never in. He started questioning me and asking me how long my boyfriend had the bottle, where he stores it, did he get water in it, that it had to have been outside factors that caused this and that it was my boyfriend's fault. When I answered his questions he would shake his head no as if I was lying. He was super rude and made me uncomfortable. I offered to come back when the owner would be there and he said "he's never here. There's nothing I can do, I'm going to call him". Last time I checked, a bottle of Kratom doesn't go moldy after less than a month, and if it was being stored improperly, this would've happened with one of the 20+ bottles we've purchased here. All I wanted was a replacement bottle for this one. We've spent a ridiculous amount of money at this shop and bought so many bottles of Kratom here. After the uncomfortable experience I just had with the employee, we will take our business elsewhere. We're all for supporting local, but hundreds (very likely over $1,000) of dollars spent here on the same product, we feel burned that it won't be replaced. Had the employee in there not treated me like I wanted to pull a fast one or I was lying, we'd still be purchasing products from here. We've never returned a single thing here or requested a refund for anything. read more

Went to Milenium tonight because I saw a really cute shirt that I wanted to take a closer look at. I was greeted by a girl working the counter and letting me know that they were having a sale on just about everything in the store. The shirt that I was looking at was 30% off. NICE! So, as I was standing at the counter checking out, I commented to the sales girl about I thought I had seen a Yelp check in offer. She told me that there was an offer but she didn't remember what it was. So, of course, I pulled out my phone and checked in and unlocked an offer for 20% off of any purchase made over $20.00. The only restriction was it was not valid on previous purchases. Ok. Cool! The girl at the counter was unsure how to process the Yelp check in discount, so she called the Roseville store for direction. She chatted with someone and they told her how to process it. Then I went to pay. She didn't know how to proceed with my payment and so she called Roseville again. She explained everything to Chris, the store manager at the Roseville location. Chris told her that I could not use the check in discount. So, I requested to speak with Chris. I explained to Chris that I read the full disclosure and it said ANY purchase over $20. There was nothing that said sale items are excluded. He said that he "was not willing to get written up over me wanting to save $6". He said that he is tired of Yelp and how every Yelper expects something for nothing. Seriously, something for nothing? I am making a purchase at your retail store. Chris said that he was going to call his boss at home to see if he could get authorization. So, I waited. Then, he called back and said that I could not have the discount. Wow. He admitted that they need to clarify if there are any restrictions on the discount. I buy my shirt anyway. I had been there for over 30 minutes and I wasn't mad at the store clerk in Grass Valley. But here is the kicker.... My receipt says that if I post a review on Yelp, I get 20% off any purchase. Seriously? #Facepalm I will never shop at this store again. It pisses me off when a business is trying to build their Yelp reputation and then talks crap to Yelpers who are only trying to use the incentives that are offered by the business. The sales clerk in Grass Valley was very nice, but she was by herself and not properly trained. I really felt bad for her, but she was told if she extended the discount, she would be written up and possibly fired. I am very disappointed. read more

Walked into the store this afternoon to hear the sales associate swearing behind the counter. I have a bad mouth myself but that gave me a bad vibe right off the bat. As well as the girl that was helping was talking to My boyfriend and I as if we were idiots When she was giving us the info we didn't need. She got annoyed and spoke to us with awful sarcasm when she showed us a piece that we didn't want. She was horribly rude. It's too bad they have nice equipment because I would love to never deal with that employee ever again. read more

Overcharged me on aspire x30 rover!. I think the guy could tell it was my first time buying a vape. Said it was normally $80 but he could get it down to $60 which I thought was great!. I went into Millenium to buy two bottles of Kratom, only to find out that one pill was missing from each bottle. I was initially suspicious that someone may have been stealing pills from the store. I went back in the next day, not for a refund, but to let them know what had happened. To my utter astonishment the man behind the counter told me that they knowingly sell Kratom that will often times be one pill more or one pill less. His recommendation was to drive all the way to the distributor in Roseville and hope that give me a free bottle. On a separate occasion I went in to buy a simple slide only to find out that they're terribly overpriced. I won't be coming here again. Nevada County deserves a better head shop. read more

There is no challenging this shop in this area, Cigarette City and Hot spot are cheap jokes and the quality of their stuff is just crap. I have given way too much business to this shop to have been deliberately and consistently DISRESPECTED. Today I came into the store politely asking about a price change they had on an item I once paid $20 for that was changed to $50. The man with the millennium smoke shop shirt on harshly backlashed my question and mocked me in a repeating tone. I have also had many experiences from multiple employees being completely unprofessional. My neighbors have also had horrible customer service experience. At this point, I am truly just disappointed with myself for WASTING my time with this awful company. Do not go here. read more

Have been in town to visit family for about a week and have stopped by here a few times. Purchased a pax 2 after a 40+ minute breakdown of all the vaporizer products they had by the female working, the receipt said Mariya. She was very knowledgable and gave me full details on many of the products to help me pick the perfect gift for my mother going through chemo. She has been using it daily since and is very happy.
