The concession area was a bit messy. It was pretty clean the first trip but when I went back for a refill it was a mess. We got two small popcorns and two medium drinks $28. I haven't been to the movies in 6 years. I was shocked. But I should have known better. The bathroom was a disaster looked like it wasn't cleaned for a few days. The seats were comfortable at least and enjoyed the movie. The workers were friendly.

It was odd to me that the theater is on the 4th floor; I wasn't sure I was in the right place, and because I was there at an odd time (early Friday afternoon), there weren't any other people around. The young man at the concession stand (where they were also selling tickets) was very kind and courteous; he even asked if the amount of butter on my popcorn was ok. The theater area seems very upscale. There's a piano playing, and just a nice ambiance. The theaters themselves have the reclining seats and are comfortable. It was a little chilly in there (I was the only patron for a while, and then one other person entered the theater, so it was basically a private showing!), so I was glad to have my jacket as a blanket. The only thing I really didn't like was the parking situation. Yes, Birmingham gives you 2 hours free parking in the structures, but the movie runs just under that amount of time, and by the time you walk to & from the theater, you're over the 2 hours and end up having to pay.

The concessions are so affordable!! You can't beat the prices! Cash is definitely preferred. Please tip! All money goes towards maintaining the theater. They have an organist who plays before and after the movie, as well as intermission. The bathrooms are very clean and there is fun merchandise for sale in the lobby. It's such a great experience!

The bathrooms were very dirty, papers towels everywhere, the stalls floors around the toilets were wet and pooling liquid. The theatre itself the chair head rests were cracked and peeling. I didn't want to have touch my head. The chairs reclined but the seatings need to be repaired. I did like that they dropped off your concessions at your seats. They also offered real melted butter but at a $2 up charge.
