Zach mis measured a foundation on step #1, made the wood structure "fit" in the cheapest and…read morelaziest way. Concrete pillars were supposed to be hidden under the shed (I also supplied a drawing from another contractor to go by) and they now extend past so I am not able to just easily landscape around them as well as some of the brackets literally hanging off of the pillars. A couple of the concrete screws didn't draw down all the way, a normal person would find out why and fix but nope they left it this way, pictures in the link!! The foundation was not square and it is to wide as well due to this mistake. I also had to shim multiple areas due to the foundation not being level. He promised to come back and help with some landscaping and some sort of flashing on the back to help hide the mistakes and most importantly keep water off the wood, I even had him give me a paid receipt saying he will return to help and then disappeared. I have linked pictures and a video of the terrible workmanship. Would not recommend. A follow up and help with some of the landscaping would have been very appreciated. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/106wxlhtnJl5a5eoshbb7661QMjDycnJm?usp=drive_link

So I wasn't going to do this, but it has been two 6, and I am still LIVID with Zach…read more TLDR: dont hire Zach. He and his crew are schemers who will steal your things. I would like to say my front looks beautiful, but if I could go back, I would never hire Zach. First bad sign, he wouldn't get back to me for one or two weeks every time I had a question. Second, I hired him in February so I could be first. He told me that I was first and that he'd be out during spring. At this point, I was worried about hiring Zach and reached out with my concerns and said that I dont want to build with him. He apologized, and that's when he came out to do my front yard...in August. Who knows how long I would've waited if I hadn't tried to cancel. So he didn't write anything down, and it shows. First, I had a natural stone wall in the front I needed taken down and replaced with another, stronger wall. Well, he told me how much money he could get for them. I told him that I had plans for them and that I wanted them. I came the first day, and all of the stone is gone. He gave me some terrible excuse and said that he'd drop it back off. He dumped a bunch of junk (cinderblock and brick) in my yard and put a big stone on top. He knows I have a disease that hampers my mobility. I wasn't able to get the up hill for several months before I found the junk. After I became angry, again, I called him out stealing my stone. He replaced maybe 75-100 stones with around 7 manufactured stone dumped in my backyard, knowing that they were meant for the front hill. He also had the NERVE to charge me $400 for stone after he stole mine. Next, he dug up a flower bed that I told him I had just planted hundreds of bulbs in, and I didn't want it dug up. He dug it up anyways and I have no bulbs to speak of. Knowing him, he probably used them on other jobs. So the next problem is that he took out two of my retaining walls in the backyard while building the two in the front. I got a zero-sum number of walls. I asked him to "red up" the backyard because of the weeds I couldn't handle because of my disease. He agreed to bring the backhoe in and work with it. He didn't mention, however, that he was going to cost me an extra $2,000. He knew my limited budget, and when I called him out about taking all of the money I had for the kitchen, he acknowledged that he knew. He still charged me another $4,000 over the quote at the end. I only got $1,000 cut off after I called him out for stealing my stone. I watched the guy tear in my backyard. He played on his phone 85% of the time. My front stoop is falling apart after only 2 years. He made other promises for things I requested and just never did them. I even got him a job at my neighbors, and he still did me dirty. In fact, we were supposed to do my backyard, too, but I told him there is no way I'm working with him again. I really wanted to give a young guy a chance because I'm young and I work hard and keep my word, but I learned my lesson. I gave this guy SO MANY chances, and he screwed me over at every chance. DON'T HIRE ZACH!!!!
