Our second floor apartment is actually the size of a three bedroom ranch house, with an added on sun porch that I use for my crafting room. The interior features original beams from when it was a working warehouse. There is an open floor concept to the main living area which makes for convenient use of the living space. All of the doors in our apartment were originally doors from historic buildings, and the genuine antique brick floor in the kitchen area, is. perfect match with the vintage, industrial theme of the building. There are so many details in this unit, that, the list is too long to post here. But let me say, Sam and Cindy are the best landlords we have ever had. They get things taken care of in a timely manor, when there is a problem, and they have given me free reign to land scape the left side of the building, resulting in my own little sanctuary garden. we are VERY happy here and happy having them as landlords, and I always tell them the only way I will leave is to go to the nursing home, or to the funeral parlor!

Many of their properties are in historic buildings, therefore do not expect any kind of real insulation or weather proofing. In the winter I can literally put a piece of paper down on the floor and watch it blow around....it's a trade off. They can be slow to respond to routine/non-emergency maintenance issues but are usually quick on emergency maintenance problems. All in all I would recommend them.

As we were moving out in the pre-move out inspection they said everything looked great and that we didn't to be present on the final inspection. upon moving out we get the final inspection and they basically charged us for everything, even though we left the apartment cleaner than when we received it. The most ridiculous charge was $250 for removing baby proofing clips from the kitchen cabinets 6-8 due to "damages" as they were placed on with double sided tape. I even replaced them a few times with no damage whatsoever. I understand we forget to remove them, but $250 ARE YOU KIDDING ME. In conclusion: 1. rent isn't cheap 2. amenities aren't the best, we even had to pay to use the party room. 3. do not trust the pictures on the website 4. read the lease agreement in detail, as they have a million fees when moving out. 5. work orders take forever, as they only have 5 maintenance for 500 apts overall it my fault for not doing my due diligence, if I had I wouldn't have pick Kensington as my place of residence.

We went to get breakfast still no call, text,or email. I called while at breakfast and was told by Dwayne that the helpers woke up late and they will be at the house by 12pm. Upon their arrival at 2pm (5 hours late), Dwayne called and advised they were at the house and decided to unload the truck in the driveway. As we pulled up to the house from picking up cleaning supplies and water for the guys we noticed our stuff on the driveway like it was a garage sale or something. It was so unprofessional and disappointing to see. Then, after they moved the things into the house Dwayne seemed frustrated and annoyed when I asked about him installing the TV's and assembly of the beds which was part of the agreement. He proceeded to install the bed and TV's. He seemed to struggle to install a TV wall mount and TV on the wall. Then, I went out to the hardware store to pick up more proper screws for the TV mount. Not sure what he did with the screws he removed in Manchester for the same mount. All the screws were packed and labled to make the installations smooth. But while I was gone he assembled 1 queen frame and a twin futon. When I came back they placed the TV on the wall and I looked at everything that wasn't till wrapped in plastic. They brought in the final piece of furniture. It was completely destroyed. I told them to leave it in the Garage. He decided to leave it right at the entrance of the garage door. So I had to move it to the side wall myself. He said it was fixable and its not. We went to sleep woke up the next morning sat back on the bed and the bed shifted with a loud bang. Noticed that the bed wasn't properly assembled screws missing and loose. I immediately checked everything. The twin bed was missing screws and shifting left and right. My antique coffee table was scuffed in mutiple places, dinning table scuffed, dressers scuffed, bed frame chipped and scuffed, some China plates cracked and destroyed, desk missing a part, screws checked and noticed screws were loosened and had to be tightened and the motor bar was disconnected, computer monitor mount was chipped like it was dropped on the ground. I was emailed by Dwayne to sent photos was told by email that they did their best and I would be fully compensated. I'm still waiting.
