This place was about a 5 minute walk from the flat the husband and I were staying at while in London, so we decided to give it ago.
From what I can recall, we were quite pleased from the very beginning down to the very end of our visit to Millers. I took a picture next to the tiny sink in the bathroom, and have since shown it to all my friends and family... But no one seems as enthralled by the phenomenon of the tiny British sink as I am. It's not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's different. Kind of like chips being called crisps, and fries being called chips. And the whole biscuit thing.
Anyway, let's forget about the tiny sinks for a minute.
The bartender here was quite friendly and helpful, suggesting a chip shop nearby for late night food as they don't serve any here. I also believe I had my first taste of a drink called "Malibu Pineapple" at Miller... Which, as it turns out, has been a thing longer than my drinking has been a thing... And I was confused as to why I hadn't been introduced to it long before my honeymoon. It's just Malibu rum and pineapple juice. Fancy that.
Other than that, this place was just a bar, cut and dry. If you're not looking for something ritzy, and your flat happens to be a 5 minute walk from here, this is a solid choice. read more
