They try to be careful when they back down into our street! your crew has always been courteous, helpful if needed! It's not been long since we've had the whole metawaste debacle. Alot of their customers scattered amoungst the remaining trash removal services in the area. We chose Miller's reliable waste services based on price and previously seeing them in our area. They have been a great company to deal with as far as waste removal goes. But over the past week there's been a lot to desire on the financial side. have been charged $60.00 on debit card with no problems in the past. When I called to pay the bill this time they asked for an account number. This began the frustration since we are paying the bill from a tiny stub that was mailed to us which had no account number on it. While they found our account by name it seemed to be no big deal. The lady on the other end of the phone verified our amount paid by stating she was charging our card $60.00. As we ok'd that amount, we thought everything was ok. Fast forward a couple of days. there was $61.50 debited from our bank account instead of $60.00. with such a small discrepancy we decided to see if their receipt would clear it up when it came in the mail. Needless to say it did not clear anything up, and also showed the extra $1.50 charge. Of course I called to see what was up. Even though it was only $1.50 they helped themselves to this time, what if it was $5 next time? Or $7 after that? Where does it stop? The lady on the phone told me the charge was due to a new service they use, and it was an automatic charge added to all credit card payments. Well Yippy Skippy for you. She couldn't seem to understand all I was saying that, whether on paper or on the phone, it would have been so simple to let the customer know there is an extra charge. Call me old school, but I like to know where my money goes. When you feel entitled to spend my money for me...that is the end of our association with you! When I stated such to the woman on the phone, she quickly and nonchalantly stated "ok". Which told me they are probably overwhelmed with all the added customers from the aforementioned metta waste debacle. So if they can get customers to leave on their own they don't have to worry about how to thin out the customers without making said customers angry enough to make this sort of post on social media! We used this company for 4 years, we had an incredible experience with a young driver that we had the past 3 years and then they switched the driver on our route and all of the sudden we have had nothing but problems. We set our cans out and our trash was not picked up twice. We set our leaves out in bags because our township comes out and picks them up and the new trash man yelled at us for having them in our yard because he won't take them. We explained they weren't for him and he was very snappy and rude with us. On top of this, today they TOOK our nice huge trash can (that was ours because they do not provide them) He threw it away and when I called the woman on the phone immediately because I SAW THIS HAPPEN, she was incredibly short with me telling me how it was old and falling apart, which was 100% false. She told me we didn't bag our trash, which was also false. Every single bag in there came from my kitchen and was bagged. BEWARE of this company! They LIE and do nothing to remedy the bad behavior of their employees. Us, and our family will take our business elsewhere. USE Anywhere else! Would give 0 stars if I could. read more
