It's not a fancy place, but it's comfortable and clean. The owners are nice and at least recognize me as a regular (which is remarkable in that I do not live here and I go to a lot of other restaurants in the area when I do travel). They offer a fridge full of vegan ice creams and such if you want to take some to go, which I imagine is helpful for the locals. From their menu, I've enjoyed most the first noodle dish I tried; the mee goreng is a just-noticeable spicy, tomato-y flavor that is distinctive (this is not a common dish in America) and likely to please most. I've found their fried rice dishes one of the most filling things for the money you can get, and certainly tasty enough to finish even when you're feeling full before the end. They offer a range of fried appetizers which are so cheap I can't believe I ever don't order one (once I didn't), and they are very appetizing.
