WE bought a home in 2018 and it had a very weird back yard set up, very "communal" with a small…read morewaist high wooden fence separating us from one of the neighbors, and no fence /barrier at all on the other. It was very similar to the last house we lived in, and we decided it was going to be fine until we could afford to do something about it. Well, 3 years in, one of the neighbors put a pool in, therefore had to put a fence up , and put up a 6 foot vinyl privacy fence. They told us if we ever wanted to get a fence, we could tie into it. Then our senior dog passed away, and we realized we wanted to get more dogs, and they were going to want a yard to run in, so we began getting estimates. We wound up finding the struggle of modern day contracting... which is almost no one calls you back. Our backyard is sizable and we knew it would be relatively expensive to put one up. We called 5 fence companies, 4 will remain nameless. 3 of them did not call us back. Pro Max actually answered the phone and scheduled an appointment the day we called, the other company played phone tag with us for a few days before getting an appointment. Kerry from Pro Max came out, walked around the backyard with us, and sent us a quote that included : all necessary permits, all plant trimming, moving the dirt to our backyard tree line to help raise the back fence up(we are up against a semi main road), and installing solar caps (that we provided). Everything was included in the estimate he sent over. It was pretty much dead on what I expected it to be for just the fence, not including all the additional stuff that was included. The other fence company came out, and well, lets just say their estimate included no permits, no plant trimming, no solar caps... and was almost 4K HIGHER than Pro Max's estimate. Less than a month after the estimate, Pro Max was on site (in January!) and putting our fence up. Took a few days longer than expected (massive rains were a huge problem) and our yard got torn up pretty bad from the machinery (what do you expect, it rained constantly for 2 weeks prior to the fence going up and then they had to stop working for a few days for more rain). Even with having to do some yard maintenance this spring time, the total cost and value from ProMax is outstanding. The installers were super friendly in our dealings with them, and answered questions and even reassured us that the fence wasn't "even" yet but they would align it when they put the final piece in (they did). If you need a fence, I recommend giving ProMax a shout, and getting an estimate. Super easy to deal with, and the fence looks great.

I called, their message stated walk- in service for materials available Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I went on a Monday, showroom doors were locked, couldn't get anyone on the phone and finally spoke with someone in the employees only part of the building. I said I need one piece of split rail fence, that I had previously purchased them here. He stated, we're so big now, we don't do that walk-in business anymore. He added that he has told the office girls to change that message that brought me out there, apparently for nothing! He told me to call my order in, then wait til they call me to pick it up. I called from their parking lot immediately that Monday morning, left a detailed message and haven't heard back now for 4 days! Though this was the tiniest of job orders, what does it say about this company? They cannot be bothered to even call back? That they probably aren't the best outfit to do any job, large or small? For me, I'll never use them again nor would I recommend them for any size job. Thank you
