Would not take my car here if I were you. They had it for 60 days no closer to being fixed. Same problem persists. Bryan stopped responding to me all together. Got car back and my 16 year old was stranded along side road. Had to have the car towed to my house. If they put it on the computer and it does not give them the exact code then they are lost. And you will pay for every guess. Towed in and out but you pay. So do not take your car to the Chevy dealership thinking they are the experts they are not. You just end up paying twice as much for parts because they only use factory parts ....Poor service and communication. My daughter's 2014 Chevy Cruze is no closer to running. Do not in any way shape or form give this dealership your business. Drove 3 hours Wednesday the November 27th (black Friday week) to check out a vehicle. Waited more than an hour to even get to see the vehicle. During that hour the sales lady (Carrie) kept trying to just rush through the paperwork. Finally the car is "done being detailed" and I'm able to check the vehicle out/ test drive it. I did a walk around and saw there was a huge scratch/ multiple scuffs and dings on the rear hatch. Sales lady said she wasn't aware of it) I opened the hood and it looked like it had been on a farm its entire life. After we go inside and I stated I wasn't paying the asking price due to damage, she talks to the sales manager (Andy Maberry) , and say we can take 200 off. I told them it was going to cost me that to just detail the car... not to mention however much materials would be to fix the damage on the rear. The sales manager didn't even care to talk to me, I had to go approach him. He said "we can fix the damage" and the 200 off but didn't state when? Was I supposed to drive another 3 hours back, get a hotel for however long it was going to take then 3 hours back? I walk back to my table to discuss this with my friend and the finance guy (Seth) walks up to see how he can help ". We walked back to his office and I explain the situation. I walk him outside, show him the damage that wasn't stated prior, and show him under the hood. He says "that's unacceptable, and we walk back into his office. He tells me the sales manager has left for the night, (that's cool, guess the customers don't matter) and there isn't anything he can do on price, but he will throw in 100,000 mile warranty free of charge. $100 deductible, any where else, $50 of it's brought back to mills. That's great and all, but we are still at the point where there is significant damage that warranty isn't going to fix, and your sales managers time is I guess more important than a customers. (Keep in mind I still have to drive 3 hours home and the sales manager gets to I'm assuming drive not far into town And be home. I leave because of how terrible of an experience. I tell them I'd love to purchase this car (I didn't just waste 8 hours of my time for nothing) and to have a manager that cares call me I honestly would have bought the car then and there if Andy would have talked to me and we could have figured something out. But like I said, he didn't care to even approach me, was a dick to me and just left. ------------ Different manager calls me, I explain the situation, and we agree on some things. They are supposed to fix the damage and call me back Monday, Monday comes, no call, I text Carrie the sales lady to reiterate that I'm expecting everything that Andy stated, and Seth stated. Carrie with a manager in the background call to ask me about the warranty that was offered, they asked if I was paying for it, I told them.. tall expect me to pay for a warranty after how I was treated? Why would I pay for a warranty when we couldn't even come to an agreement on price? Not to mention how did I know all the deductible details of the warranty wasn't offered to me? Their entire demeanor over the phone changed and I the manager loudly said (yeah we aren't fucking doing that) I just said, if you guys expect me to pay for a warranty that was offered to me for free you're crazy and just hung up. It's very clear that nobody at this dealership is on the same page, now it makes sense to me why this car has been on their lot for months, not to mention I now see why the car was pictured the way it was in the rear, they were blatantly trying to hide stuff. They wanted me to show up, sign papers and drive home. Thankfully I trusted my gut and checked out the vehicle entirely. I'll give Seth the finance guy a break. He did what he could and was trying to accommodate the best he could. I heard he's newer so maybe this dealership hasn't had a chance to break his spirit/ fill him in on their shady business practices. One star is WAY TOO HIGH of a rating, this place is absolutely terrible and filled with snotty adults who all act like children. Don't even get me started on there managers Jamie and Ryan, they are insufferable to stand. There is no reason anyone should be buying a car from here, I wanted to test drive some used vehicles that were in my price range, what a mistake. I was told to only test drive about a block or two... as I got in the car it smelled like a septic tank no joke, there were piles of trash in the back, from water bottles to half eaten chicken nuggets. Clearly I stepped out and said something. In return I was told to get over it and either test drive it or keep moving along. Wow. I decided I wanted to speak to the manager and welp that's where it starts. I spoke with Ryan first who in all honesty I dont know how he has a job there, he cut me off countless times as I was discussing the car situation and what the salesman had told me. He explained how it's a used car what did you expect the inside to be a nice shiny interior, then when I brought up the inappropriate behavior from the rep he told me "We are a busy dealership, if you don't buy it the next person will so goodbye". I told him I'm not leaving until I speak to the person in charge of everything, sure enough Ryan left me in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes before coming back with this man child named Jamie. Instead of discussing the problem and having a civil conversation, he decided to walk directly towards me while saying leave and not stopping until he had walked me to the front door, there at the door he told me to get going and I am no longer offered service there, he then closed and locked the door I was outside of and made a little smirk at me before turning and walking away. My family was having a sudden problem with our Chevy Tahoe while visiting Davenport one Friday afternoon. We looked up Chevy dealers and they were right down the road. Since it was 4:30 on a Friday we prepared to have to leave it to be looked at the next week. We pulled into the service area and were greeted by a service advisor who offered to take a look. Luckily they found an easy answer. They were very friendly, helpful we chatted about new cars but never felt any pressure to pursue any options. They wouldn't take anything for the service! Ohhhhh boy I don't even know where to begin. I've been getting cars from these guys since like 2013. In 2018 I bought a used '05 Toyota Sequoia in a hurry. Barely 2 years and only 16k miles later, I took it in for an alignment and some winter tires and they show me that the entire subframe is rusted out, with the steering gearbox separating from the subframe due to all the rust. The mechanic thought it was necessary to very firmly wiggle the pinion to demonstrate how bad it was, as if it wasn't obvious enough already, and as if that wouldn't make things even worse. I get that it was partially was my fault for not checking the undercarriage before buying, but to not disclose that kind of existing damage to their customers, let alone a repeat customer? Damage that could lead to losing steering or the frame flat out snapping going down the highway? In less than two years? Disgusting. But my stupidity doesn't end there! These perfect salesman suggested that I trade the vehicle in since insurance won't cover the cost! They would give me slightly more than the KBB average value of a not-totalled Sequoia! So, a couple weeks later I went in to test drive some vehicles. I could only afford used, and Jon showed me some cars in my price range, specifically a Chevy Sonic. Which I specifically told him multiple times that I am not at all interested in. Anyway, Doormat Personality me obliged to let him put me in a Sonic that I insisted I did not want to test drive. Before hopping in, he disclosed that they hadn't quite gotten around to detailing it, so it's not super clean. Lo and BEHOLD -- tampons, opened menstrual pads (no way was I checking if they were used), food, miscellaneous trash galore! Smelled like straight up vomit! They even left the previous owners registration in the glovebox so I or any old creep could mail her a letter :) Needless to say, I did not buy the Sonic. Since no one else would offer me what they offered for the POS they sold me before, I went and bought a used Hyundai Veloster from them a few weeks later, just before Christmas. Test drove and had it inspected by an independent shop, who found a bad tie rod, and a weird ticking sound coming from the engine (not the feul injectors) that neither they nor Mills could diagnose. I bought a great warranty, so I figured I'd just take it to a Hyundai dealer at some point. I understand that with the holidays just around the corner, they were horrendously busy. That was clear without them repeating it to me multiple times. So when they told me they'd have to hold onto it over the holiday weekend to replace the tie rod for free, oil change and "inspect" it, I said fine. The next day I got a bunch of automated service-related texts that made it sound like they were done working on my car? Called to verify, and they said they didn't know why I got those texts and to wait until Monday. I will reiterate that I called to verify whether my car was ready, not to demand to know why it wasn't. A few hours later I got a call saying that it was ready to pick up?? Upon pick-up the salesman was as charming as ever, lest he miss out on future commissions. He never mentioned anything about the inspection, just that I was good to go, hurry hurry subtext, etc. I drove it a whole 6.5 miles to an AutoZone to pick up some air fresheners to kill the mildewy detailer's vacuum smell, and my engine is smoking. Guys comes out, flips the valve cover off to reveal pools of smoking oil all over my engine. The Mills techs made a huge mess and didn't even bother to clean it up, sure ok. Checked the dipstick and it's overfilled by /two inches/. And now, only a couple weeks later, I'm out of coolant. Interesting how that didn't turn up on the "inspection" they never breathed a word to me about. Never. Again. I give businesses the benefit of the doubt. I know what the service industry is like. But there is absolutely NO f****** excuse for any of this. They sold me a rust box that totalled itself in less than two years. I told them I couldn't afford much, and made it pretty obvious that I was in this situation because of them, so they deliberately insulted me by negging me into an absolutely disgusting vehicle that I explicitly stated that I did not want. And since I really felt like I didn't have much of a choice, I went and spent more money on them. So they go and try to sabotage my vehicle. 9 years of business. Truly incredible s***. The service department is a chaotic, mess from customer service people who tell blatant lies to technicians with no experience who either can't diagnose problems with your car or misdiagnose them and still charge you for repairs that don't have anything to do with the real issue If you complain, the management sides with their workers on EVERY OCCASION and will go as far as to blame you and accuse you of having driven the car wrong or damaged it after you took got it back from them even if it's only hours later. I had my air conditioning fixed here and it cost $1300, within 14 days it stopped working so car was brought back in and they claimed two more hoses were leaking that they didn't see the two weeks prior!! They wanted $700 more to replace!!! That would total 2000 to fix 3 hoses, I could have put a down payment on a brand new car and not had any air conditioning issues. Don't buy from Mills Chevrolet! After friends of ours bought 4 vehicles from there recently, I decided to check out their used cars for my son. I test drove 3 or 4 vehicles. They only wanted me to drive the cars 2 blocks. Nope, I took them all for one quick trip and 1 exit on the interstate. Not a long ways. 2-4 miles. After getting them warm they all had major issues with antifreeze leaks, smoke, bed coming off...all in the short time before we got back. Live 360 tracked it ALL. It was a total of 13 miles for at least 4 test drives. That's under 3 miles pr test drive. The last one was seemingly "OK" except wasn't 100% on how it shifted on the high end. I already had called my son to get his approval and meet me there. (Blocks away shopping) All of a sudden the salesman says, "Get out or buy it now. My manger is having a fit". Of course I wasn't compliant with such a demand. My butt was literally in the seat, and my son was there. My son hoped in, we went for the last short drive, he liked it, and was going to buy it. That is until they wanted to run their mouth at me and harassed my wife while we were gone. Their problem? That I was "blowing up/beating up" their cars. Really? Driving a couple of miles is "beating up"? Had I not drove the first couple it would have left my son in a bad spot with huge car repair bills. I told them that was it "bad business" to harass a customer, not to get a car warm, and I had cash in hand. AHoles took it a step further with saying "We have plenty of cash." Wow! Of course I made a scene and made sure everyone in the place knew they had vehicles leaking fluid after a proper test drive. It was unbelievable! According to the salesman and my interaction it was the sales manger ,Abe Eystad, that was the issue. I am for sure his issue was me exposing the junk they were passing off on customers. I love that my friends who just purchased from them and was with us now won't be going back. I also had been trying to talk myself into a new truck. Guess where I won't be going. Tony in the service area was GREAT and personable. I was babysitting a little guy when I brought my husbands truck in. The dad forgot to bring the baby's diaper bag when he dropped him off to me. There was no way I could wait two hours for them to finish the truck. I talked to Tony and he offered to send someone out to buy diapers for us! The family lived around the corner so I opted to just run to the house to grab the diaper bag. They were about to start working on the truck and Tony pulled it out for us, held our spot in service and let me do what I had to do. Honestly, 1 star is WAY too high of a rating. Came from out of state to look at a truck at Mills Chevrolet. First they refused to negotiate price at all because "their price is 3% lower than the market." It was only when our salesperson went to put the truck back on the lot and realized there was a problem with it, were they ready to come down a few hundred. We were willing to accept the deal and explained then that since we live in a state they don't do tax, title & license for; that we would have to take the title with us. All was fine. We completed what we needed to, got a cashiers check from our financial institution and returned to the dealership. While waiting for the finance person to complete their end, we again verified they have the title there for us to take with us since we have to take it to a dmv in our state to get it put into our names. Our salesperson bulked at this and went to check. The finance lady said it was fine. We get into her office to sign the paperwork, she goes to make a copy of the title, comes back and says no we cannot take the title, they have to send it to the financial institution. We again explain that we have to take it to the dmv to get it put into our names and that the credit union is aware we are doing this and having our state send them the title. She gets the general manager Josh Park, at the dealership. He was rude, arrogant and cocky. Did not want to have a reasonable conversation. Wasted our time and the time of our credit union. Reason being that they have to send the title to the credit union to put their lien on it. A lien on a Wisconsin title, in the previous owners name that is in no way attached to our loan. And stated once they have their lien on it, they can send it to us to change to a Missouri title. So all in all, I would not deal with Mills Chevrolet or believe anything they say. read more

in 2018 my computer in my GMC Sierra went bad, my mechanic purchased a computer from Mills Chevrolet. They were then unable to program the computer, so paid Mills service department to program it. The problem? Mills sold us then programmed a 2013 computer into my 2015 truck, many things in the truck no longer work properly, this was dishonest and unethical for Mills to sell then knowingly program it into my truck. read more

Buying and new or used car is stressful. However, going to Mills Chevy was a good choice the sales person was friendly, and not pushy at all. We went knowing what we wanted and about what price we wanted. The sales lady did a nice job of helping us get what we wanted. The biggest issue we had was that the car was not cleaned very well. It should have been cleaner, and it would have been nice to have a key fob and extra key at the time of purchase instead of having to come back later and pay for it to be done. However, after talking to a sales manager about the minor faults, all problems were resolved quickly. No one is perfect but what matters is that at Mills they took the time to listen and resolve all of the issues in a respectful manner. All in all Mills is a good place to get a new or used car. I purchased my vehicle late Thursday evening prior to Mills inspecting it or having the chance to detail it. We agreed that I would leave it at the dealership to allow for time to get it detailed. The agreement was to pick it up Monday morning. Upon picking it up Monday it was found to not have been detailed as promised. (Even though that was part of the purchase agreement). Then I was given ONE key to the vehicle and told that's all it came with. The salesman said he couldn't do anything about it and that's just the way it goes when purchasing a used vehicle. I asked him what one key was going to do for a household with two drivers. His answer...... "it'll start the car, that's what". Being already agitated I REALLY didn't appreciate the tone after having just handed over $12000 in cash. I demanded to speak to a manager who then took the vehicle to have another key fob programmed and key made. When he returned the salesman came back at the same time. Both had keys and key fobs in hand. Had the salesman checked for the second key in the first place I wouldn't have had to create such a scene. So now.... if you're looking for me.... I'll be detailing the car that I paid Mills to do for me! Needless to say. I WON'T BE BACK! read more

I would not even give 1 star but have too. Took my 17 Silverado to get paint sealant, scotch guard re-applied and undercoating checked. Been working on getting it in since July 2020. being the covid situation didn't know when it would happen. Called several times checking in to see when we could get it in. Finally the beginning of October I was informed would could set something up. I informed them being I am 2 hours away I would need a vehicle during the service that would take 2-4 hours. I informed them that the week of Oct 12-15 I would be available being I was on vacation. never received a call. I called on Oct 15 and was told that the 16th I could get in. I informed them again that would not work being the 15th was my last option for that week. they said it would have to be next week and I replied yes Monday Oct 19. I was told at 9AM. I was also told they would try to get me a vehicle by then. I showed up at 9 AM and was told they did not have a vehicle. I told them "then we have a problem". They offered to drop us off somewhere and leave us. DO NOT THINK SO. I have a vehicle I expect one to replace it. I went to talk to the general manager Josh Park and was told he was in a meeting, So I left my name and said I would be around in the service area. I went back up a couple more times and asked to see if he was still in the meeting, No he was not but he was not around. the last time I went up to see him I was told she passed on the message. I Never did get to talk to him before my vehicle was completed. Which they did in 1.5 hours, also made me wonder if it was done completely and correctly.
