That sound pharmacy is in small local pharmacy but they're very effective. Super nice stuff. They sell a lot of interesting stuff inside which is great along with your regular medical supplies. Also some nice small gifts are available snacks etc. etc. this place has a drive-through which is very quick more faster than the Walgreens drive-through, I've actually switched from Walgreens to this place and I like it way much better. There is plenty of parking on the side of the building and in the rear there are no steps so easy to answer and exit especially if you're wheelchair bound and or on crutches and there's a Dunkin' Donuts right next to it, which makes it Extra plus for me to get my coffee read more

So Anyway this is local for me so I moved my business to Milltown Pharmacy because its more convenient for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the polite service and friendly faces of the staff who greeted me and were just so kind. Very Knowledgeable Pharmacist. Thorough directions and packaging. I used to really love this place. Everyone knew our name and was friendly and patient. I don't know what happened but there's been some serious turnover and all the employees seem cranky and definitely don't really care to know anyone's name. Lots of attitude coming from some of the young ladies who ring up at the front. So, I've been disappointed with my past few visits but figured something was going on and wanted to give them time to adjust. The final straw came recently when we brought my very needle phobic son in for his first Covid vaccine. We finally got him on my husband's lap in the little area in the back where they vaccinate. He was still crying and screaming and overall petrified. The young man who was slated to give him the vaccine simply sat there, scrolling on his phone, not one piece of advice, not one reassuring word. I finally asked him what he suggests/advises parents when their kids are this phobic and he just said that we should take his arm out of his shirt. I was so disappointed in his lack of empathy and blatant unprofessionalism. To text or scroll while there's a patient in front of you is unacceptable! Hoping they get it together soon or I'll take my business back to a big pharmacy. read more

Hands down the most patient-focused team of pharmacists and customer service professionals you will ever meet. A member of my family has a health condition that requires highly specialized meds. The team at Milltown Pharmacy has been exceptional to work with. They work with doctors and insurers to make sure he is never without what he needs to be healthy. On one occasion, a family member was being discharged from the hospital and the pain management prescription the received had an unusual formulation. The pharmacy *stayed open late* to work with the hospital to help me get him what he needed for the night. I was/remain incredibly touched how they went the extra mile for us. Would a big chain pharmacy do that? I am not so sure. Really, really outstanding service. read more

Will not filll my son's opioid prescriptions 2 days before 30 day ? It's really 28 days according to nj state guidelines. He's had 3 unsuccessful spinal fusions in past 11 years. Former owner was much more accommodating and understanding of his needs. read more

Milltown pharmacy is the only place that I want to get my prescriptions. They know me be name and make a point to know all their customers. Unfortunately my health insurance which is Aetna forced me to use CVS or CVS Caremark for prescriptions taken on a regular basis. They will only fill pay for another pharmacy the first three times on most drugs. They will pay for only one regularly. It is wrong. We should be free to fill our prescriptions where we feel safe. I have twice received someone else's drugs in my bottle from CVS. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. This would never happen at Milltown Pharmacy. The pharmacists know who you are and what drugs you take, and counsel you regarding them. They go above and beyond if there is a problem with anything. Milltown pharmacy will also get you whatever you need from their store through the drive-thru. Try getting a bottle of Advil at CVS or any other chain while in the drive-thru. No way!!! Please if you agree, write to your employer benefits department and your health insurance company. Also your congressman. We need to be FREE to purchase with insurance, any drugs prescribed!! Because of an international travel request, I needed a PCR covid test. Milltown Pharmacy was great at providing the service, but they gave me the contact of a lab that they do not use anymore to get the results. The pharmacist I called right before the flight was very courteous and did his best to get the results, but he also didn't know that they had change from Mako Medical lab to Clarity Laboratory. And although he tried hard to help me, it was all in vain. That meant not being allowed in the aircraft and having to schedule everything again and the the cost of that for business purposes was way bigger than just the cost of the PCR covis test. Finally, the day after my missed flight, I got the information to get the results for my test, and the lab informed me that they were not given my email or any other form of contact, which is why I didn't get my results on time for my trip. The owner of Milltown Pharmacy, Paul, personally called me to apologize and to offer solution for the problem. He informed me that he made sure that all employees were aware of the recent lab change and that that this problem will never occur to any other client. I give them 5 star for being proactive to solve the little misunderstanding and for being ready to change for better. We all make mistakes, but understanding the problem and being ready to change is what make good customer service. And this is the one reason I like to work with small local businesses. For some three years I have enjoyed the outstanding Customer Service at the Milltown Pharmacy. All of the several clerks are knowledgeable and friendly. When I was about to renew a 90 day prescription in December an discovered that I was "in the donut hole" of my HMO a friendly clerk suggested that I just change my order from 90 days to 15 days - until the end of the year and then return after Jan, 1st when my HMO account would be reset to zero, resulting in a lower price to me. read more

I recently needed help choosing a new Medicare Part D prescription drug plan. They showed me a variety of options available in NJ. In the confusing world of Medicare plans this was so helpful.
