He also trimmed my eyebrows and sideburns. The shop looked clean and there were 3 barbers cutting hair when I was there. My haircut was $20 and I left feeling like it was worth it. I was so excited to go in and see one of my old barbers from a different shop working today. I had…read moreonly been in since Sal left the shop, and wasn't very impressed. Today's visit was only because my normal shop had closed for the day before I was blue to get there. I came in with a warm greeting from both of the ladies working. Immediately afterwards the lady in the first chair starts going off on my old barber, telling her that she's not allowed to greet customers when they come through the door. My old barber obliged, then when someone else walked in, the first chair lady feet Ed the customer, and went off on my old barber again. At this point I was thinking "there is no way I'm sitting in that first chair". Then, out of nowhere she goes off a third time and pulled my old barber off of her current customer to yell at her in the back. I was blown away by her lack of professionalism, and decided that I was willing to wait until Monday to get my hair cut by my regular barber. I am sad that I didn't get to have a conversation with my old barber, and that she didn't get my tip money. I hope that she leaves this place and finds a less hostile working environment. I won't be back, even in a pinch. It's a shame because this shop is within walking distance from my house.
