She was able to demonstrate techniques to start the journey of training and I was able to experience positive results immediately. She is able to correct you without making you feel a failure or inadequate and stupid and at all times my dog felt comfortable and was responsive (if albeit exuberant in some of her attempts. At the end of each session Jo e-mails what was covered during that time adding further advice or tips and giving you links to things she may feel will help you or indeed supplying you with links to things you may have asked or discussed. I would highly recommend her services. She seems passionate about her work and animals and is a credit to the training profession. I will certainly be using her again if I feel I need more help/improvement and knowing I can contact her in the future via e-mail for any help, support or advice is a great comfort.

She's now 8 months old and we thought it was time to see how clever she actually was. Booked a course of puppy training classes with Lydia (http://www.dogsandstuff.co.uk ) and had 6 of the nicest Sunday mornings learning how to handle her properly. Lydia attends with one of her own dogs who sort of shows you how it's done and there were 5 other people with their dogs. One of the reasons I chose Dogsandstuff was because almost all the other puppy classes out there have between 15 and 20 dogs and it all gets a bit out of control (I attended one in Enfield before this one, but didn't bother going back). Being one of only 6, you get plenty of one to one attention at this one. I couldn't say that she was now fully trained, but she's well on the way.

Bozie is quite shy…read morebut he clearly took to Louise becsuse she made a real effort with him, even buying him an adorable flat fish toy. She sent us photos and videos as requested and we were totally reassured that he was being beautifully cared for, which of course enabled us to enjoy our holiday. Louise was completely practical dealing with some unexpected mice visitors and left the house immaculate. I was rather moved that she had washed the bedding and put it out on the line to dry. So not only did we have a lovely time knowing Bozie was happy but our return home was really nice too.

She was wonderful ..... we met her a couple of months before our trip .... then once more to hand over keys etc. just a day before our holiday. I think the idea of kennels is fine for dogs, but cats are more lone wolf than the actual ancestor of the wolf... so this was the perfect solution. The first time we booked with them Louise the founder came round to meet us and the cats, answer any questions we had, and allay any fears. You then choose the number of visits and what sort of time (morning/evening) you have your pet 'sat', or dog walked, fed etc. They spend a good amount of time with your pet, playing with it, feeding it, making sure there are no problems. They even water your plants and leave a little diary so you know how your cat/dog/a.n.other has been while you've been away. We even came home to a pint of milk. I honestly can't praise this company enough, I really can't. Absolutely trustworthy and worth every single penny!!!

We were concerned about the house security (we had just been burgled!) and worried that Lucy our cat would be really lonely and not want to leave the house as mostly likes to go in the garden when we are around. How impressed we were upon our return. Far from being upset and hiding in the house, Lucy wasn't even home! It was 1am but we had to wait over an hour before she came trotting home from her jaunts! She was overjoyed to see us but she was as plump as ever (unlike her return from the cattery) and showed no signs of stress. The notes left by the visitors were detailed and reassuring and showed the level of care that we had hoped for. It also showed the security measures that had been taken on the house. And, the pint of fresh milk in the fridge was a wonderful touch!! Thank you

She's extremely responsive to queries and has been accommodating to any last minute requests or times my schedule has changed unexpectedly. Most importantly, I know my dog is in great hands when he's in her care and is always in great spirits after. She's great about sending pictures and updates even on the daily walks, and adds personal touches when taking care dogs (like throwing my dog a birthday party when I unexpectedly had to go out of town!) He's usually groomed elsewhere every month and it's a bit of a worry as he's always nervous And a lot of groomers are a little frightened as he's a big boy.
