The patio is still there which was a bonus as the sun was cracking the flags and the latte I ordered was just right. The service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere really pleasant. Also I should add that I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the customer toilet; so often in these small cafe type places the toilets are not particularly salubrious but the Corner Room's little convenience was clean, tidy and fragrant. I will definitely be heading to The Corner Rooms again when on my next jaunt to Allerton Rd.

The appeal of this place definitely has something to do with the homely and welcoming vibe, even though it's small you feel rather special here. The food is all veggie and they have loads of healthy stuff (Greek yoghurt with toasted oats, fresh fruit and honey, I think so!) and drinks especially are dead cheap. They also have the most amazing homemade cakes- the baked cheesecake and cream, is a sure winner, so if you fancy a snack and a little step up into a quirky little cafe this is the place to go after a stroll down the kooky lane of Larks.
