Instead of throwing away everything or hauling it to the dump, we collected everything brass and metal and took it to Industrial Recyclers. These guys are great. Real friendly (which was an unexpected surprise) and helpful. There were carts and bins near the loading dock to put your items into and after one of the workers saw me struggle with stuff falling off of my cart, he ran out to help me. The real appeal is getting cash money for all of this metal and brass. This is my second trip out here, and we can see that its starting to catch on with a lot of individuals. There is a constant steady flow of people coming in and out, especially on the weekends. Not sure how the rate for metal compares to other places (or if there are any other places in the area), but kudos for convenience, location, overall customer service and...making it rain dollar bills. BTW, at the time I went, brass was $2.10/lb, Iron @ .115/lb and aluminum at .60/lb.

The scale will clearly contradict what the gentleman will say and he will manually change the weight and he will state "scale issues". This has happened with copper wiring as well. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!! I feel like they count on you not watching their every move. And ofcourse every sale is final. Its unfortunate that a company has come to ripping off their customers for $5 when it really makes a huge difference to us. Disgusting!
