Our move was scheduled from twelve to three. We were getting our keys in Brookfield and get a call they are at our house at 10:30 with the smallest moving truck I've ever seen! It was a 30 minute drive to rush and get home. We moved all the boxes. All they had to do was move our furniture and washer and dryer. Mario was obviously the most experienced out of the two. The other guy, Josh was uncoordinated. He dropped several things. Later, to find out from my husband, he said he was hungover. He broke an heirloom, my mother's large framed mirror. Now I'm fuming. I told them at booking it shouldn't have been more than 2 hours. They went from 1030 to nearly 430! I got charged for two hours of overages. This move was the slowest move in my life. Only .5 of a mile away! My bill was nearly $800. Never again! They should be called unspeedy men! I can only imagine the cost of they slowly moved out boxes! Also upon inspection when putting our furniture together, we noticed scratches.

I ended up helping unload the truck. Was still charged for the extra hour, refused to call their boss. Called company multiple times and left multiple voicemails with the company. Finally got a call back when I called off of someone else phone. Explained the situation and requested a refund for the additional hour and was told someone would follow up in 48 hours. Has now been over a week with no answers, no refund, no call back. Have called multiple times, left multiple messages. Worst experience I've had with moving.

K S." showed up on time and worked tirelessly until the job was done! They were polite and respectful of both properties. They handled my furniture with the same care that I personally would have taken and were professionals at all times. Even when faced with challenges, they problem solved and included me in the decision making process to ensure I was informed and aware of what was going on at all times Do not be fooled by the apparent youth of some of these employees; they are good! I never had to worry that my belongings were going to arrive safely. I never had to question anything they were doing. I even saved money by booking online 60 days before my move. That's just awesome! The only hiccup was in the planning phase. Because I booked online, and told them my inventory, their calculator didn't accurately anticipate the size of the move. Luckily, I moved to a location close enough to allow 2 back to back trips in a short amount of time. I talked to the company about this and found out that I could have asked for a site visit (or virtual site visit) to get super accuracy on my quote. They would have sent someone to visually check what I was moving to determine what size truck to send instead of estimating based on my reported inventory. Next time, I'll know! Still, hats off to College H. U. N. K. S. I highly recommend them! They are logisticians on a mission! I totally respect that!!!!

They were very apologetic and told me they had been in contact with the local branch. The local branch manager also reached out to me to apologize and confirm the full refund. I thought this was a generous resolution and very much appreciated it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unacceptable Service & Communication - Forced to load their trucks for them and left with a ton of uncollected junk. We are a non-profit youth program that recently attempted to clear out four storage units worth of items. Much of it needed to be disposed of, so we hired Junk Punks MKE to help us clear out. We don't expect any person or company to be perfect, but every single minute of their service was one problem after another. Here was the series of events: 1. Late Arrival - The crew arrived 30 minutes past the scheduled time window. 2. Truck Already Full - The first truck showed up more than half full from other jobs. 3. Breakdown & 4-Hour Delay - That truck then broke down, and it was four hours before a replacement arrived. During this time, we had to repeatedly call to get updates as there was little communication from them. In all my experience with disposal and moving companies, they have procedures in place for trucks breaking down, Junk Punks clearly did not. During this time we ended up taking several loads ourselves with our own truck. 4. Second Truck, Same Problem - When they finally returned, the replacement truck was again over half full of other junk. 5. No Crew Left - By this time, the majority of the junk team had gone home for the day, leaving us to load the truck ourselves. That is labor we specifically hired Junk Punks MKE to provide. I do want to commend Meech, I assume he was the team leader, for being the only worker to return. He was apologetic, and doing his best alone -- I felt bad that the rest of the crew left him in that position. 6. Unfinished Job - The second truck quickly became full again, and because it was the end of the day they had no plans to return to collect more of it. Because of this, we were forced to rent our own U-Haul longer, incurring an additional $185 in rental costs on top of the disposal we must now complete ourselves. 7. No resolution - When I reached out to their company, they told me they would give us a total of $350 off for the inconvenience. I had felt this to be fair enough of a resolution for the experience. However, they never processed the full refund or sent additional communication. Since we ended up doing the labor for them, it would have been cheaper for us to just rent our own trucks and do everything ourselves. We do not recommend Junk Punks MKE.
