Cute spot! I found it by accident trying to got to a Vietnamese place a couple of doors down in the shopping strip. They were closed but I decided I could at least grab a tea! I got an iced Oolong tea with passion fruit. It was very good but a bit too sweet for me even though I got unsweetened tea. I need to figure out the right combo next time. The tea was still very good and it's just my preference in not liking sweet tea. The girls working that night were both really nice and tried to help me figure out a place to find some more Vietnamese. They also helped me with picking out the Oolong for the base of my tea. I grabbed a Pina Colada cake for a treat for my boyfriend on the way out. I think the other location may serve more food and I wish this one did too. The place was very clean and bright. Plenty of seating if you want to drink your tea there. They also have a good variety of coffee if you are in the mood for café.

The boba tea is fantastic! My favorite is the Lavender with tapioca boba. The staff is young and friendly, the prices are fair. They have comfy couches and games to play while you enjoy. And they now have bubble waffles too!

SCW and I were on a short road trip up to Melbourne as a little getaway during COVID-19. We came up to watch a rocket launch (several great locations to do that in the area) and I wanted some tea. I used Yelp to find Mima's Cafe & Tea bar and so glad I did. The location is in an easily accessible strip mall and parking is easy. Masked up and went inside and found a very spacious and clean interior with many comfortable places to sit while maintaining social distancing. We looked over the menu board and ordered. I got a cold hibiscus tea with raspberry flavoring while SCW got her coffee. I was really happy with my tea. It was flavorful and just downright delicious. SCW agreed and she really enjoyed her coffee. The service was kind, professional and prompt. Just what I was looking for. I'll certainly be back.

Finally after months of waiting I got to visit this very cute tea shop. Looking at the menu there's so much to choose from I decided to let them make me a milk tea which was very good . My friend had just a chia tea which she also enjoyed. I can say that the place is super clean and has nice tables and laid back couches to sit on . In the back in also a cabinet where they had board games . I loved the chalk board as well where you could leave a message or draw something. Hope to visit again soon .

I'm not a local and was looking for a nice place to study. I found Mima's through Yelp and I have been here every day this week! I love the Thai Milk tea with boba. The atmosphere is chill, the music is a pleasant mix, all of the employees have been very kind and helpful. The menu is large, offering smoothies, bubble tea, coffee drinks, and lemonades with lots of options and modifications. Definitely worth coming by!

I love this place!!! Very allergy-friendly...many options of different milks including both soy and almond. Also a ton of options for the toppings. I had adorable strawberry hearts in my honeydew milk tea made with soy milk. Yum. One note, even though this place deserves five stars for the friendly staff, great atmosphere, and lovely teas, it is certainly a little less traditional. Having ordered a less traditional tea, I was tickled pink. My husband got a more traditional one (taro with boba) and said the flavor was a little off. Super creative, friendly, and nice place, and still worth five stars in my book. Just maybe order something a little different this time.

I went to this place with my mom earlier today. She ordered an iced caramel macchiato with boba added in, and I ordered a large Thai wall. The thai wall is caramel, condensed milk, and 4 espresso shots. Both drinks were AMAZING! Also worth mentioning that the service is great as well. I would highly recommend this spot. Mima's Cafe is super cute and cozy. They have board games to play and couches to relax on. The staff was super sweet and welcoming, and didn't mind giving recommendations or answering questions about their drinks. The staff was also genuine and and funny too! Mima's Milk Tea Boba was delicious and I 10/10 recommend to anyone, the staff also asked me about personal preferences and what I like more of in my drink! They got the drink to me very quickly, but didn't rush me to order, or to leave. I'm definitely coming back! read more

I LOVE Mima's! The iced lattes (Caramel Seafoam or Bonbon) are super creamy and rich! You can tell that they use high qualify beans because the espresso is so smooth with very little acidity. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable about their coffee! I am so happy to support this veteran family-owned business! read more

I hate to say anything negative about a business trying to do their thing but if you're looking for a nice boba tea to sip on this place isn't it. My girlfriend ordered a simple strawberry slush with boba but all we could taste was no pulp orange juice. I ordered a Taro milk tea with boba. Normally I have to tell myself to slow down when I drink them but this definitely wasn't good to me. Unfortunately we spent $11 and some change on two drinks we couldn't / didn't want to finish. Other than our drinks not tasting good the staff was very friendly. read more

FINALLY an amazing tea place in my home town. I discovered this place through Yelp about a month ago and have been there several times now. I've never been disappointed. Wonderful experience at this new coffee shop. The staff was wonderful. They let me pre-taste their coffee to make sure that it was exactly the strength that I wanted. The owner was so sweet and gave me a bag of beans of another coffee blend to try at home. Overall, very nice atmosphere. It's a great place to do work and relax. It's been a long time since I had a great cup of Cuban coffee but after I had a cup at Mima's today, I remember why it was I was looking for a Cuban coffee house in the first place, it's because the Cubans really know how to make a great coffee and Mima's is no exception. This place is wonderful! They take time to use real tea and coffee, with a wide variety of options. The barista working was incredibly kind and personable and the shop has a great atmosphere. Most people in the area don't know how great bubble tea is, so definitely try it if you have a chance. read more

Had never been in before, but stopped to grab a tea, and fell in love with the place. Very relaxing, nice staff, and I ordered a mango black sweetened iced tea that was fabulous! Maybe a little pricey than your typical drive-thru sweetened tea, but well worth the extra pennies. Will visit again! read more

Wonderful! Ordering was a little confusing, but the cashier was very kind and helped us out. If you know your teas then you'll have no trouble though. I ordered a fruit tea with boba, and it was really pleasing! The passionfruit was not to sweet, but if I wanted it sweeter then the handy dandy option on the menu will allow me to do so. The passionfruit came with the seeds, which I personally thoroughly enjoyed. Pretty good :))) 9.3/10! read more

This was my first stop after landing in Melbourne. I was greeted with such a warm genuine smile. I'm not sure if the lady who took our order was the owner but she was super nice and patient with my indecisive husband. Can't wait to come here again for another Thai milk tea which was perfect btw. If you haven't tried this place you definitely should. It's not as expensive as Starbucks but tastes so much better, and this is someone who is a complete Starbucks junkie. read more

The iced matcha latte was great. Chill staff, but weren't all that helpful when we told them we didn't understand the menu. It was very quiet at first but it picked up when we got our orders. I ordered a Boba tea. Let's start out with the lid. I don't even understand why they don't use real lids, and it's not working. The second I put my straw in it, it explodes and gets all over my hair and clothes. The bottom of the cup leaked, and they had to use a new one. Second, they forgot the Milk! My drink tasted horrible, and it was all bland. I know they are new, so I will give them a second chance. I will also change my flavors and choice in case it was my combination. Next time, don't skip the milk! read more

The menu was way more unique than just your traditional coffee shop and many of the items on it were homemade. The owner takes a great pride in ownership and it shows. Sizes and prices were reasonable and comparative to what you find at a Starbucks or Caribou but the drinks were handcrafted with way more care and creativity. There was a large gathering of people to pick up coffee, so it was easy to assume that this local joint was decent. We enjoyed our drinks! Well worth the stop.

I had the almond milk tea with boba at Mima's Café & Tea Bar, and it was absolutely delightful! The flavor was perfectly balanced--smooth, creamy, and rich with a subtle almond taste that wasn't overpowering. The tapioca pearls were just the right consistency, soft but still with a satisfying chew, and they complemented the drink beautifully. This is such a great cafe, environment, and addition to the community and culture of beachside living! The boba milk tea is sooo good, my fave is the Mima's MT signature. They also have delicious Cuban coffee!It is a family owned, vet owned business and the family is soo awesome that they treat you as their own.
