I love it here! The milk tea boba is vegan and delicious, best milk tea I've had in the US and it's right across from the beach.

I went to this place with my mom earlier today. She ordered an iced caramel macchiato with boba added in, and I ordered a large Thai wall. The thai wall is caramel, condensed milk, and 4 espresso shots. Both drinks were AMAZING! Also worth mentioning that the service is great as well. I would highly recommend this spot. Mima's Cafe is super cute and cozy. They have board games to play and couches to relax on. The staff was super sweet and welcoming, and didn't mind giving recommendations or answering questions about their drinks. The staff was also genuine and and funny too! Mima's Milk Tea Boba was delicious and I 10/10 recommend to anyone, the staff also asked me about personal preferences and what I like more of in my drink! They got the drink to me very quickly, but didn't rush me to order, or to leave. I'm definitely coming back! read more

I LOVE Mima's! The iced lattes (Caramel Seafoam or Bonbon) are super creamy and rich! You can tell that they use high qualify beans because the espresso is so smooth with very little acidity. I hate to say anything negative about a business trying to do their thing but if you're looking for a nice boba tea to sip on this place isn't it. My girlfriend ordered a simple strawberry slush with boba but all we could taste was no pulp orange juice. I ordered a Taro milk tea with boba. Normally I have to tell myself to slow down when I drink them but this definitely wasn't good to me. Unfortunately we spent $11 and some change on two drinks we couldn't / didn't want to finish. Wonderful experience at this new coffee shop. The staff was wonderful. They let me pre-taste their coffee to make sure that it was exactly the strength that I wanted. The owner was so sweet and gave me a bag of beans of another coffee blend to try at home. Overall, very nice atmosphere. It's a great place to do work and relax. Wonderful! Ordering was a little confusing, but the cashier was very kind and helped us out. If you know your teas then you'll have no trouble though. I ordered a fruit tea with boba, and it was really pleasing! The passionfruit was not to sweet, but if I wanted it sweeter then the handy dandy option on the menu will allow me to do so. This was my first stop after landing in Melbourne. I was greeted with such a warm genuine smile. I'm not sure if the lady who took our order was the owner but she was super nice and patient with my indecisive husband. Can't wait to come here again for another Thai milk tea which was perfect btw. The iced matcha latte was great. Chill staff, but weren't all that helpful when we told them we didn't understand the menu. It was very quiet at first but it picked up when we got our orders. I ordered a Boba tea. Let's start out with the lid. I don't even understand why they don't use real lids, and it's not working. The second I put my straw in it, it explodes and gets all over my hair and clothes. The bottom of the cup leaked, and they had to use a new one. Second, they forgot the Milk! My drink tasted horrible, and it was all bland. I know they are new, so I will give them a second chance. I will also change my flavors and choice in case it was my combination.
