I have known Dr. Cadena for over 28 years. My entire extended family goes to him. Yes you will…read morewait 1-2 hours to see him, because he is in such high demand and is an excellent surgeon. I am an anesthesiologist and watch his surgical expertise every week. He is a fantastic surgeon that is extremely talented. He has also been on Ripley's Believe it Or Not twice for his amazing surgeries. My Mother-in-law went to a highly rated orthopedic surgeon for her feet and the result was horrible. Dr Cadena re operated and fixed her feet. It was a very complicated case which needed complicated surgical techniques to correct. There are many very good podiatrists here in Las Cruces and I can highly recommend many of them. I wrote this review to counter the unfair review I read on Dr. Cadena because of his wait times. He is worth the wait. The bigger problem is it is almost impossible to recruit physicians to Las Cruces. Our group of anesthesiologists have lost 12 members in 3 years!! Need to look at the politicians and make changes in them before the medical and the school system changes. Dona Ana County ranks worst in the nation in almost every category, yet we keep voting the same.
