I can't express how grateful I am to Mimi's Pet Transport. Mimi & Dominic run a 100% Class-Act business. My son & I recently moved from California back home to Florida. A cross country move is very stressful on its own and now I had to factor in the best, less stressful way to get my fur-babies to Florida. The whole process was new to me. I researched how to fly with dogs. I read all the requirements, the do's & don'ts and it was all very overwhelming to say the least! If that wasn't enough, we were also traveling in August which is the designated summer month the airlines chose to also incorporate additional restrictions, etc. Well, I quickly realized, flying would not be an option for my Peanut & Luna. Well, ground transport it is then! Again, I begin my research with several transport companies, stalked their websites and even called a few to get more information about this "new world" I had never known existed. I still hadn't felt that sign of relief, and even contemplated making the dreaded drive myself. All of a sudden I see Mimi's Pet Transport in my search results. Subconscious flashing of lights directing my attending to their name like a Beacon of hope. Although I know it's not possible, I swear I heard the angels singing. From the moment Dominic called me, I knew I hit the jackpot. He took his time giving me the background history of Mimi's Pet Transport, thoroughly explained their routine, the in's & outs of the business, even things I would have never thought to inquire about. From pick-up to drop-off, Dominic & Mimi kept me updated every step of the way. Consistent communication, just as they had promised. Oh, when they say "in less than 48hrs" they mean it!!! I still can't get over how fast they were. My son & I flew to FL the next day or 2 later and we pulled up at the house at the same, exact time. It doesn't get any better than that! My dogs were excited, happy and healthy. And don't assume that just because Dominic & Mimi were done with this "transport" that it would be the last time we heard from them, because it wasn't. I was so surprised to receive a call from them a few days later wanting to know how Peanut & Luna were doing & if they were adjusting to their new environment like if they had known them/us for years. I had to instill a lot of trust into Dominic & Mimi for having my babies, but I knew from the very beginning I could trust them. We even got calls at Christmas and New Year's. We received Top-Notch service from Mimi's Pet Transport. Although I have no plans of moving again, if I was, they would be my first call! I was living in the Cayman Islands and transporting my dog, Daizy, to the United States. She was born and raised in Cayman so traveling by plane was new to her. As you can imagine, this was no easy task to start with. I was rather nervous as my only choice to fly her direct into the States was JFK International Airport in New York City and I needed Daizy transported to Indianapolis, Indiana from NYC. This is a very hectic airport to not only fly into but I also had to clear Customs with her (my dog). I had never used Mimi's before and they had never picked up a pet at an airport before. We both were out of our comfort zones in some respects. That being said, once on the ground and through Customs, nothing could have put me more at ease or comfortable than the service Mimi's provided. They were on-site at JFK picking up Daizy almost as soon as I walked out the door and onto the Arrivals sidewalk. I could say it was luck but I know it really was because they were so diligent in making sure they were on-time and ready to go. I had to fly to Indianapolis from NYC the next day. I made it to Indianapolis before my dog but Mimi's was always in touch giving updates (including pics of Daizy on her trip from NYC to Indiana). Way to put a person at ease! Even through the pics you could tell that she was well taken care of and enjoying her trip. Not only was I very thankful for the absolute care they took with Daizy but I truly appreciated the understanding they had for an owner (and my concerns). That goes way above and beyond a simple courier service. When Daizy arrived in Indianapolis you could tell she had zero qualms or stress over the trip. I'm not even sure she was ready for the road trip to end! Ha! Thanks again guys! You were more than I could have hoped for in a smooth trip for Daizy. Mimi's Pet Transport is the only transport everyone should be using! Dominic our main contact was so nice and very professional about his business. When the transporters came to pick up my Husky Twix in New Jersey, that's when we first met Enrique and Eduardo. They were very pleasant and professional when we first saw them. They allowed Twix time to get accustomed to them before leaving and involved us in the process. They sensed we and our dog were anxious, but they remained calm and reassuring. The first night/day was the hardest because we were not used to not seeing our baby. But once they guys provided us with pictures along their trip, we felt better that they gave us an idea of how she was doing throughout the whole process. Apparently, she was normal and opened up to them right away and very playful! That put us at ease! We also got updates on location of where they were as well. They actually arrived earlier than expected, I swear it was only 2 1/2 days, so they were very efficient with time! We were extremely apprehensive about the whole thing, but they allayed our fears from the beginning and throughout the whole trip. Once she got to California, we were very happy to see that Twix was okay and so were the Guys!! They all still had smiles on their faces!! Enrique said she was perfect!! I recently moved from Houston, TX to Kingman, AZ. Dominic and Mimi at Mimi's Pet Transport did an awesome job! Captain, my lab mix, have severe anxiety issues. He sounds fierce when he is inside, behind a window or door, but as soon as he is outside, he is afraid of everything! I was really concerned about this. In addition to Captain, we transported 3 cats, again, one who is very anxious. She hates everyone, but me. Because of timing, we had to board our babies at the vet for a several days. Dominic & Mimi picked up the pets from my vet's office and sent pictures of the set-up in the van and took pictures of my pets once inside, asking me to verify my babies since I wasn't there. Once on the road, they took pictures and updated me throughout the trip along with their location. When they arrived, my babies were healthy and happy to be in their new home. I asked Dominic about Captain's anxiety, and he told me that at first Captain was anxious, but quickly warmed up to them. He had no issues on the trip. I highly recommend Mimi's Pet Transport. After researching all possible opportunities for transporting my two senior cats from California to Ohio, I chose Mimi's Pet Transport nearly a year before my move.Their very thorough website seemed too good to be true but after a phone call with Dominic who explained in detail the transport process, I was convinced that he and his staff would provide the very best care while safely driving them to the destination. During the months before we were to leave California, Dominic made contact with me a couple of times with specific details and information. On pickup day he arrived at my house with two very large traveling crates and helped to put the cats in their mobile home for the trip. With reassurance I was sure that all would go well and indeed it did. In just 36 hours with twice daily pictures, maps and comments the two drivers and my cats arrived at our new home. If you have ANY worries about transporting your dog anywhere (mine was from CO to CA) Mimi and Dominic are the ones who will set you at ease. I did not think this was even possible - I was EXTREMELY nervous about transporting my new pup. Other shipping services had no understanding of how nerve wracking this can be for humans - and offered nothing to calm me in any way. The moment I spoke to Dominic I knew I was understood. Completely. He wants to know everything about you and your critter. Spent an hour at the house before he left. My pup fell in love with him and just jumped into his car no problem - it was like- ROAD TRIP!!! YAY!! He was grinning and so was I. Words alone cannot describe how excellent Mimi's Pet Transport is. Language falls short, however I will endeavor to clearly convey the level of professionalism and humanism that was shown to me. To wit, I was in a horrid domestic situation, a stranger in a strange land, stuck with a psychotic relative, and had to get out of Dodge lickety-split. The situation was beyond horrendous. I had mere days to go at my disposal. My four cats, Paco, Chita, Ester and Lupe, are like my children. If Mimi's guys couldn't do it, almost assuredly I would've lost the animals. Dominic scheduled a pickup the NEXT DAY. Then I got the movers, booked my flight, etc. it took three days to go from SF to Atlanta. Mimi's Pet Transport will transport you to a better place in life. We were extremely nervous about transporting out two dogs and cats across country as they had never been away from home unless it was with us. Dominic was very patient with all the questions and concerns, and his follow-through was impeccable. It took a little over two days for them to be transported. The animals were arriving before us, and being taken to a local pet resort in the town we were moving to. When Eduardo and Enrique arrived to pick up our animals, they were extremely friendly and professional. More importantly they were great with the animals. Each morning and evening they sent us pictures from the road, and we received a check-in call from Dominic twice a day as well. It was an excellent experience for all. Although we initially hesitated because of the price, it was well worth it! If we ever need to transport any animals in the future, I would most definitely use MiMi's Pet Transport. We chose Mimi's Pet Transport to transport our very anxious dog cross country from California to Virginia. I had been impressed by all of the 5 star reviews and now I know why they have such great reviews. Dominic was awesome in setting up the dates and times that worked for us, he answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns, and he made sure that we were kept posted at regular intervals about our dog's progress across the country. I loved the multitude of photos they took of our dog as they traveled and the detailed "report cards" they sent that told us how she was handling the experience (and even included information about how well she was eating and going to the bathroom). Our dog arrived in a very timely fashion and was happy, healthy, and obviously had grown attached to the gentlemen who drove her and gave her such great attention. I can't recommend Mimi's Pet Transport enough. My dogs (Cockapoo and Terrier mix) were coming from Texas going to Northern California. I've never transported my dogs, and I was a VERY nervous customer (as Dominic can attest to). Dominic was absolutely amazing, taking the time to speak with me over the phone regarding my needs, as well as in person before the transport the day of. Through the trip Dominic gave me updates about every 4 hours with pictures, general well being, and location (map of where they were exactly). This was VERY relieving. Dominic picked my dogs up early Thursday morning and arrived to my home in California Friday afternoon. I wouldn't trust anyone else besides family with transporting my dogs. Enrique, Eduardo and Jorge did a phenomenal job caring for them and minimizing their stress on the road trip. The guys also kept in touch along their route with frequent photos and status updates shared via Dominic on the phone every day. One of the dogs and the cat generally don't like men they haven't met before, but Enrique, Eduardo and Jorge won them over very quickly. It's obvious that the guys are caring, skilled professionals. My wife and I hired Dominic and Mimi to drive our 2 dogs from Massachsetts to Carmel Ca ,and 6 weeks later a return trip from Carmel to Boston. They were both OUTSTANDING! They kept us up to speed every day on thier progress across United States. Pictures and updates made us feel so comfortible that our dogs were safe an happy. Both dogs arrived healthy and happy in California. We then got to hang out with them on beach of Carmel for 6 weeks. They picked up the dogs and again kept us fully up to speed on thier progress back to Massachusetts. Mimi and Dominic were professional and so pleasant to communicate with, they are real pros with unbievable possitive attitude. We have just finished our first experience with Mimi's Pet Transport. Our dog Max was picked up from our home in a suburb of Chicago and brought to our winter home in southern Florida 26 hours later. I have dealt with Dominic throughout and he couldn't have been more respectful, understanding and considerate. We were originally going to use him last year but due to Covid we had to cancel. Our deposits for two trips had already been made. Dominic couldn't have been more understanding. He immediately transferred what we paid last year to this year. We used to fly with Max as an emotional support dog. And when that was discontinued by the airlines we found Mimi's's. We will be using them yearly and I couldn't recommend them more. read more

There are a myriad of pet transport companies on the Internet and it's not easy to find the right one. Dominic was very professional and easy to work with. Dominic and team provides a valuable service to pet owners - relocating their pets in a safe, comfortable and hassle free way. We were relocating from California to Charlotte and did not want to "ship" our 90 lbs Labrador Retriever across the country in an airplane cargo locked up in his crate for 11 hrs. Awesome job. They transported our dog from Dallas, TX to Stamford, CT and she arrived fine and happy to see us. We were very worried as we had to leave her at our vet to be picked up by Mimi's and we knew she would be very confused as it was obvious we had packed up our house and left with her and then dropped her at the vet. They sent pictures each day along the trip and while it was obvious she missed us and was confused, she was obviously well cared for and made the trip just fine.
