"We just have the one size." "What size is that?" "Uh...I dunno. It's....its a large." "Okay, how big? This big? THIS big?" Shrugs. I ordered some wings. Bartender starts practicing cornhole. My beer runs out. I wait five full minutes, then walk over and ask if I might have another beer. The guy throws one more beanbag and then walks back behind the bar. We came in around 9 PM after a whole day hike in the North twin River for pre-hunting survey. The bar owner informed us that they were closing at 10 PM, so that was a bummer! We decided to leave to go to camp and agreed to come back the day after. We came in at 2 PM the next day and met Robyn (bartender/owner). Such an amazing person. We played pool and ordered a bunch of drinks. I ordered Long Island ice tea which Robyn made so effortlessly flawless! At par to what I get in Vegas or maybe even better. This was very impressive! Tom got tap beer which I believe was from Great Basin Brewery - I notice he loves this brewery a lot and usually picks this whenever this comes up as a choice. The inside decor is great. Taxidermy of deers, elks, mountain goat and many more (I wish I took pictures - I definitely will when we go back on October). The bathrooms were very clean and well kept and decorated to the theme. They don't have an attached kitchen to order food but it wasn't a deal breaker, we came for the drinks and the conversation and we got what we came for! It is owned and operated by a local family. Your bartender will either be Mark or his mom, Donna. They own the place. They have a fabulous assortment of whisky. I'm working on joining their Whisky 100 club. Love the history of this place. Built in 1907, check out the pictures on the wall. You can see that it is now virtually like it was in 1907 thanks to the hard work they put into restoring the building. Great owners, good booze, friendly atmosphere ... you can't go wrong here.

There is a sign on the front door that says, "21 and older." Well, I meet that requirement. But, I didn't get in the door for more than 30sec, when a young man that works at the bar, said that I needed ID. I asked him, "Do I look like I am under 21?" He said it didn't matter, that the sign out front says 21 and older, and I need ID to prove it. So I went back to the parking lot to get the ID from my car, and I showed him my ID. I also suggested, in summary, that he might be less curt about compliance. He interrupted me and said that I argued with him when he demanded ID. I tried to remind him that I only asked a question when he demanded ID. It was impossible to have a conversation with him, as it seems like he didn't want to listen, but just bark orders. I made a bee-line to the men's room. As I exited the men's room, and before I could order anything, he tossed me out of the building. Luckily, I took my business elsewhere.
