They're also really good about fitting me in for an appointment quickly. They're also respectful and understanding. This place is affiliated with Albany Medical College, so they often have student observers. However, they're very good about not forcing that on you if you're not comfortable with it. For instance, when they asked me if a male student could observe my last gynecological exam, I wasn't having it. And that was fine.

The entire experience I witnessed was absolutely unacceptable and disturbing. They should be ashamed. Their patient advocacy program is a joke. They lie to you and do nothing to advocate for patients. You think they're on your side but don't fall for it. They're not your friend! It's also filthy. We had to constantly remind them nobody has been by to clean in days. Just gross!

Don't admit and take advantage of patient's helplessness and increase the pain what they are already going through. Yesterday, I am standing at the nurses station for 3-5 minutes and a nurse finally addresses me asking "Do you want something?" In my head I'm thinking- No, I'm standing here adorning the the counter. No one wants to be bothered. If my husband needed changing, a beverage or info regarding his medical plan it is ignored. I used to recommend Albany Med with high marks, no more!!! Oh, and the attending physician never even tried to connect with me for two days after I left several avenues to communicate information. If anyone assures you that they will contact you with any significant updates- they lie. To be fair, I am specifically commenting on D 420's.
