I am very appalled by this business owners actions and customer service. I bought multiple massages on Groupon and gave them to coworkers and my bf. I had one for myself and it took me 1 month to get an open appointment. The day I go in for my massage I couldn't find the place and tried to call for directions, only to repeatedly get a voicemail stating they are closed. I finally get there late and I was irritated by the situation. The woman who was supposed to give me the massage EBONY, (also the owner and only massage therapist there apparently), asked me multiple times if I wanted to reschedule because she felt I was too stressed and irritated to get a massage by her, which further aggravated the situation. There was No apology or understanding from her in any way for not answering the phone when I called repeatedly. I had driven around thirty minutes trying to find the place, and was 11 minutes late ( per her policy that would cut into my 50 minute massage). I tried to relax and fill out my paperwork. Finally she asked me if I wanted to reschedule again and at that point I felt insulted and extremely uncomfortable and said forget it I'll just leave and I would like a refund. She told me to contact Groupon about a refund. When I got home I received multiple emails. One from Groupon stating my voucher had been redeemed and asking me to rate my experience, and 2 from Mind Body N'sync stating they are sorry I missed my appointment and per their 24 hour cancelation policy my card was charged $25. I thought, surely this can't be right!! I contacted Groupon immediately. Within minutes they refunded my money for the Groupon she had claimed I used and for all the others I had purchased for my boyfriend, and coworkers. Before I contacted my bank to dispute the inaccurate charge, I decided to reach out to this company, out of courtesy, to see if they wanted to try to make things right. I tried calling, no one answers again. I sent an email, thinking surely this is not how you run your business. Well, EBONY called me and informed me that YES, in fact this IS how she runs her business. I could understand if j just didn't show up to my appointment and wasted her time, but this is not the case. Halfway through the conversation she asked me if I was ok with the phone call being recorded, then she states that she has video cameras in her lobby and she had recorded me coming in the day before. At this point I feel she is really being strange. I have never experienced something like this in my life as a customer anywhere EVER. I told her ok record the conversation. I wasn't saying anything wrong, or yelling, or cursing or being threatening in any manner. Nor was I the day I went in for my massage. I had told her I didn't want to reschedule, because she was booked solid for 3 weeks and had been for a month prior to me getting the appointment. She admitted she was booked because of ALL the groupons she had sold. When she continued to ask me to reschedule I figured I'll get my money back and just go somewhere else then. I point blank asked her on the phone : if I had rescheduled like you kept asking me to, you would not have charged my card? But because I wanted a refund you decided to redeem my voucher and charge me extra money? She SAID YES! And she said she had zero intention of returning my money.
I guess she needs it more than I do.
Beware giving this woman you credit card information. And if you decide to go in anyway call days ahead to get directions because IT IS hard to find and they never answer the phone so you will have to leave a message or send and email. read more
