My children, now grade 10 and 12 started their schooling at MindTech. My son started at the 9th line location at 18 months old and moved to Dickson Hill when my daughter joined the infant room at 12 months old. I found the teachers to be warm and nurturing, and was pleased to find the same at the Dickson Hill campus. Because we were so happy with the CASA program, we continued on in to the Elementary program where both my children continued to thrive. The teachers dedicated and the students friendly, MindTech continued to exceed our expectations. Now, 8 years since leaving the school, we often fondly reflect on our time at MindTech. Private school was never our intention, but in MindTech, we found our second home. Extra-curriculars like skating, swimming and skiing lessons sparked interest in these activities that has endured. The annual speeches had the kids, starting in grade 1, at a podium speaking in front of classmates, teachers and parents. What an incredible opportunity to normalize public speaking. The result? Kids who are confident to speak publicly because they had the opportunity to hone these skills in a safe environment at an early age. In the classroom, they developed a love of learning and I recall Ms. Leela's urging to always "start what you finish" and "give your best effort". Most heart-warming however is that my kids have remained in touch with many of their classmates, and I too occasionally stop in to catch up with the administration. As my son approaches his final months of high school, and my daughter nears the close of grade 10, I am amazed as I see them take on leadership opportunities with zest and manage them with confidence. Our daughter, who is 5, has been with MindTech since 12 months old, I can't imagine a different start for her. We considered taking her out of MindTech when she was ready for JK, but after attending the CASA workshop, it is very clear why the Montessori program works - I remember there were parents at the workshop who wanted to enrol their 11 year old into the school after learning some of the things that were being taught in the 4 year old classes. My daughter started out as a very shy baby when she was first cared by Mrs. K and her assistants, but with the very intentional daily activities, the trips, the concerts, the international projects, the extra curricular classes (such as kilometre club, swimming, skating, martial arts, and french), they gave our daughter such confidence that when introduced to new things and new people in new environments, she does not shy away from it all! The stellar teachers like Ms. Leanne and Mrs. Hopson, gave my daughter the desire to learn more outside of school, which makes us very busy people (in a good way)! Not only does she gain knowledge academically, but MindTech also teaches life skills which makes our daughter a very responsible and respectful person at home and anywhere we go. The richness of the program at MindTech as well as the Montessori education not only influences what my daughter learns, but how she learns and interacts with the world around her outside of school. My daughter attended MindTech Montessori School for 6 years, Pre-K (CASA) through to Grade 3. We had been there a long time and we have watched this school continue to grow and strive for excellence in every way. I have seen my daughter grow from a shy little girl to a strong and confident young woman and a lot of it has to do with the guidance and support she received over the years. Can't say enough about how great our experience has been with Mindtech at this location in Dixon Hill. The principal, teaching staff, and admin team at Mindtech are highly engaged and care deeply for the students. Our eldest has attended the school for three years and we are extremely pleased with the personal attention and support he and his classmates receive from the teachers - as well how they focus on his cognitive, social, and emotional development. We receive regular photographs and videos of our son at work and play in the classroom and outside, and the teachers always make time to provide extremely helpful feedback on how to extend the Montessori learning experience into the home. The staff and students put also enormous effort into two staged productions each year which a complete delight to come and watch, and our son loves participating in them. Over the past few years we have delivered our kids to school each day with the peace of mind of knowing that they will be in knowledgeable, experienced, nurturing, and gentle hands. The school has wonderful programs, strong core values, and provides commendable, high quality care. During their time at MindTech, our children have gained an appreciation for holidays, traditions, customs, and really began developing a global mindset which was reinforced by such wonderful events as the school's International Day. A few times a month, staff sends us photos that show us how happily our children are engaging in activities and interacting with their teachers and peers - we just love those little glimpses into their school lives. Absolutely phenomenal! My first daughter went to daycare, which I didn't like too much. I found that the teachers watching the kids were not "good" for a child caring environment so I decided that I was going to enrol my son into montessori to see if I like this environment. Both children were brought up with the same amount of attention given, but I can definitely see a difference. I'm now due soon again and for sure will enroll my child into montessori. Both my children are in this school now. My daughter is in their grade level, son is now in Senior Casa. Teachers love my kids as their own. My kids are a lot more polite and well-mannered then my nieces and nephews from daycare. They are a lot more advanced then kids their age overall. All the best to this school! A wonderful environment for infants, toddlers and preschool. The experienced staff, supervisors and management team keep the school clean, happy and festive, with a perfect balance of fun and learning. In addition to the Montessori curriculum, through numerous in-house and external field trips, kids are exposed to experiences in art/music, sports (skating and swimming) nature, culture, French, science and health at exactly the right level for their ages. The staff are like one big family, facilitated by Candace who oversees every detail in every classroom. I have never met someone so enthusiastic about and effective at their job. We have sent all 3 of our children to Mindtech East campus, even if it means double dropoff and pickup. Highly recommended! read more

Our son has been attending MindTech since April 2014. From the first tour, we knew that MindTech was the place for him. Since then, we have walked hand-in-hand with his teachers as he has progressed from the toddler to the CASA program. This school has been my daughter's daycare from 10 months old to present (over 3 years old). I have absolutely loved the staff and the work they've done to support her.. she's learnt so much! I am comfortable speaking to them if I have a concern, and they are always quick to address any issues. Teachers are not fit nor trained to take proper care of children. My child literally came home soaked in her own urine after spending the entire day in the same diaper. The coordinator has no experience with working in an environment for children. Save yourself the stress and send your children elsewhere. read more
