They have a nice sized rooftop pool. Near the restaurant which never seemed to be opening or serving anything. The staff were very nice. lovely people. No wifi in the rooms, but you can get it for 2 euros for 6 hours in the lobby. This is the perfect spot for families. Or mates going on holiday in a group.

The food was probably the only thing I could complain about, some of it was nice but some was poor quality and lots of the same dishes were put out every single day. I was sick of it by the end. The all inclusive drinks were great though as they included loads of soft drinks, slushies, spirits, beer and wine. The altamar is made up of loads of apartments. Our apartment was clean and quite big with loads of space, there was a bathroom, bedroom, and big living space with sofa, tv, cooker and fridge. We also had our own balcony with sunbeds and table and chairs. There are two decent swimming pools at the altamar, with loads of sunbeds next to them. There was entertainment on every night, some of which was quite good, and some not great but we went out some nights anyway. Over all the apartments, pools, drinks and staff were all great. The food could have been much better though.

So worth it!! If you traveling with little or teens this is for you. The food is so delicious, fresh and lots of variety. Yes drinks! There are tours but we just did the water sports ( scuba and jet ski) the rest of the time we just stayed at the hotel all week. Excellent service! Clean beautiful rooms all with ocean view looking over infinity pool.
